LuckyDice (ЛакиДайс; pron. la-kee dah-is) is a five-member Kyrgyz boy group that was formed under Luna Kyrgyzstan. They debuted on June 13, 2021 with digital single Party Fire.
Etymology[]
Name LuckyDice (ЛакиДайс) is simple combination of words "Lucky" and "Dice". The combination symbolises boy's luck and coolness.
Fanclub[]
Name of LuckyDice's fanclub is DiceDots, which comes from the dots that are on the dices. The fandom's name symbolises the fans being part of group's life and success.
Concept[]
LuckyDice doesn't have one particular concept, but they mostly follow boycrush concept with different motives and elements. LuckyDice inspires their concept with concepts of k-pop groups.
Background[]
In November 2020 Luna Entertainment's Kyrgyz branch organised casting for two 5-member groups. The casting lasted for 3 days, choosing 10 winners, 5 girls: Cholpong, Hazel, Joy, Rose and Zuzu, and 5 boys: Alan, Ash, Melis, Timo and Yura. The boys were training together and preparing their debut. On April 10, 2021, just after BlackCherry's debut, the company announced their debut date - June 13, 2021. The boys also received their group name - LuckyDice, soon after the members were shown to the public.
Career[]
LuckyDice debuted on July 13, 2021 with digital single "Party Fire". Because of Ash and Alan being trainers, and Timo being a juror in survival show Arena of Hope: Royal Feast, the group is on hiatus since October 18. On November 2 Yura was announced a contestant of another survival show - Dawn of Teenagers 2. 4 days later, Luna Kyrgyzstan announced that boys will release their second, pre-recorded single, which may be their last comeback in current OT5 line-up. On December 29, the company have announced that Yura is leaving the group to debut in Euphonious. The same day Luna Kyrgyzstan announced replacement for him - Igor.
