Lee Jisu (이지수) is a South Korean singer. She is a member of girl group LILYDIVA. She is also a former contestant of the survival audition program Search The Cosmos Season 2, representing 32 MEDIA.
Career[]
. . . pre-debut[]
Jisu first became connected to K-pop after being a fan of boy group SEVENTEEN. Prior attempting to become an idol, she ran a fan account for member Woozi. In 2020, she began to apply for entertainment companies and was rejected in most of them, but was later accepted by label 32 MEDIA. She trained alongside members of girl group C9PID, but ultimately did not make it due to her short training period. She continued to train for approximately one and a half more years under the company. While under the company, she grew fond of rappers such as Yoon Mirae, Lauryn Hill, and Megan Thee Stallion, eventually learning how to write raps by herself.
. . . 2022-2023[]
In late 2022, Jisu competed in survival audition program Search The Cosmos Season 2 representing 32 MEDIA. Unfortunately, she didn't make it far, being eliminated in the second round and failing to make it in the winning project group BOREALIZ. Just months after her elimination, 32 MEDIA had become a defunct company, prompting her to find another agency.
. . . 2024[]
On October 14, 2024, Jisu made her debut as a member of girl group LILYDIVA with the single album Lily Bomb, featuring the lead single "BTG (Been That Girl)".
Other information[]
