Lee Hye-yum (이혜윰), also known as simply Hyeyum, is a South Korean singer and choreographer under Highline Media. She is a main dancer, lead vocalist, and a rapper of the multinational girl group BEAUDENT and a former member of the kids group MYDESTINY.
Early Life[]
Lee Hye-yum was born on May 23, 2001, to parents working in seemingly wealthy jobs. Her father, Lee Beodeul, works in a university as the Dean, and her mother, Kang Arisol, works as a engineer in a nearby shop. She grew up watching dance shows, and slowly began learning the dance moves on the show.
She later auditioned to Majestical Entertainment as a child model in 2009
Career[]
2009-2012: MYDESTINY[]
Sometime in mid-2009, she was revealed as a 1st-generation member of the female kids group MYDESTINY alongside child models Lee Hyorim, Koo Byeolha, Jang Haerang, Lee Gureum, and Koo Byeolbi. They made their debut on September 29, 2009, with the single "My Destiny Is Mine!".
She, along with Lee Gureum and 2nd generation member Hwang Nabyeol, were announced to be graduating from the group in 2012.
2023-present: BEAUDENT[]
On November 7, 2023, following the expulsion of member Joo Ju-yi, it was announced that Hyeyum would join the group as a new member, and she would be one of the new main dancers and lead vocalists, as well as a sub-rapper.
