Lee Hwarang (이화랑) is a Korean actor signed under Aprica Entertainment.
He is best known for being a contestant on Find Your DREAM.
History[]
Early Life[]
Lee Hwarang was born on November 18, 2002, in Dongil, Daejeong, Jeju South Korea to a couple whose names are undisclosed. He is the youngest out of three, with an older sister (Sarang born in 1995), and an older brother (Gyurang, born in 1998). His family owns a cattle farm in which they are cattle farmers.
Growing up, Hwarang was always content with being a farmer, playing in the dirt and staying out in the country side with his family. As such, it had never really occurred to him or given him any interest in wanting to see Seoul, or even Busan or Daegu at that, stating that he liked living a quiet life surrounded by nature.
It was only during one day trip in Jeju City, where he was insistently talked to by entertainment scouts, wanting to recruit him due to his visuals. After the whole day of him being approached by these scouts, he had went home that day, and began looking up k-pop idols.
He became very impressed with the videos he saw, noting the hard work the idols he saw on YouTube did to be able to debut, something that impressed him immensely.
Since watching those videos, he has since wanted to learn and train to one day become a k-pop idol, and as such he had began learning how to dance and sing in hopes of him one day getting accepted into a company.
Career[]
2024-Present: Competing in Find Your DREAM, musical debut in SIN/KING[]
On June 21, Hwarang was revealed as a contestant on Find Your DREAM as an individual contestant.
On July 9, it was revealed that for Find Your DREAM he was placed in the temporary team ElementalS, along with 9 other contestants.
On August 9, the first episode for Find Your DREAM, Hwarang performed "Move" by Taemin, during which he was placed into the Nightmares team.
His team was unfortunately eliminated in the second nightmare elimination round.
In the beginning of November, it was announced that Hwarang is currently in talks with signing with a major entertainment company, no more information was further released. It is currently rumored that he is in talks with Aprica Entertainment to join them.
On November 17, it was announced that Hwarang would be making his musical actor debut in the musical 'SIN/KING', he will be playing the supporting character 'Hwang Younghun'
2025: Signing to Aprica Entertainment[]
On January 3, it was announced that Lee Hwarang signed an actor contract with Aprica Entertainment.
On January 7, it was announced that Lee Hwarang was casted in his second musical 'RED HARING' as supporting character Lee Wonwoo.
On February 10, it was announced that Hwarang was casted in the summer musical 'Land of You & I' as supporting character Ryu Hanjin.

Personality[]
Hwarang is very much a country bumpkin, having lived on Jeju his whole life, he's only ever known about farm life, raising cattle, and tending to the animals on his family's farm.
Knowing the dedication that it takes to be an idol, Hwarang wanted to take this path as a challenge for himself to see if he can be able to be someone that can stand on stage. While his skills are lacking, he is always dedicated to learn how to better himself and become better each time.
Other than that, Hwarang also has a goofy side to him, being able to draw out the laughs from others around him, with him being known for talking in dialect more often then not, much to the amusement of others around him.

- He became vegetarian because he had a pet cow when he was a kid, and one day during dinner, they had hamburgers during which his sister and brother told him that they were eating his pet cow, causing him to cry, and only cry harder when his mother and father revealed to him that they were. Since then he has abstained from eating meat.
- He revealed that he misses eating bacon, and has found that bacon alternatives suck.
- Since it is hard to have vegetarian options at home, he has resorted to cooking and making his meals himself, which has helped him in learning how to cook.
- His favourite colors are: green, blue, and orange.
- He is lactose intolerant, in fact, his entire family is lactose intolerant, despite this, they all love cheese and ice cream.
- He revealed on his instagram that if he wasn't accepted in Find Your DREAM, he would have enlisted into the navy for his enlistment.
