LUYTEN (Korean: 러이텐; Japanese: ライテン; Chinese: 莱顿) also stylized as luyten is an upcoming South Korean Girl Group. Their debut date is unknown.
History[]
Pre-Debut[]
On 2021, NEBULA+ revealed their female trainee team consisting of 4 trainees, Jeong Doyeon, Kwon Nagyung, Yoo Suin and Baek Jihyo.
on August 10, 2021, NEBULA+ announced revealed that three more trainees would be joining the team, Son Dahee, Lee Siyeon and Kwon Chaei.
on November 17, 2021, on KIPRIS, people found evidence for the trademark LUYTEN, and speculations were risen for NEBULA+ possibly hinting the debut a possible group formed from their female trainee batch, however nothing was confirmed.
2022-Present[]
On July 11, 2022, NEBULA+ announced that their first original girl group would be debuting under the sub label SOSYME, as LUYTEN. The same day the official SNS accounts for LUYTEN were opened alongside with a promotional showcase uploaded on their YouTube channel.
On September 7, 2022, the first official member Xixo was revealed followed by Doyeon on September 8, Naram on September 9, Skylar on September 10, and Dora on September 11. The same day SOSYME confirmed that luyten would be debuting with 5 members as their finalized lineup.
On May 22, 2023, NEBULA+ announced that they're recruiting trainees that will eventually become members of Luyten alongside the 5 current members.
On August 1, 2023, the 6th and 7th members were introduced, Zuyu and Jungeun whom previously had participated on Starlight Ticket, followed by Kayeon on August 11.
On March 26, 2024, members of Luyten announced that they're parting ways with NEBULA and SOSYME, they will continue as a group and prepare for their long awaited debut in another agency.
