LE FANCIER (Korean: 르펜시에; Japanese: ル・ペンシエ) is an Multinational 6-Members Girl Group under CMSIX Entertainment. They debuted on August 28, 2022 with their first mini album THE FANCY.
History[]
Pre-Debut[]
on April 7, 2022, CMSIX Entertainment announced that they're going to debut a new girl group going by the name LE FANCIER, on the third quarter of 2022. In the same article they also announced that famous trainee Byung Sohee would be part of the lineup for the group, whom previously was an almost debut member for BJSN and SECRET V from PERSONA Entertainment.
on April 12, 2022, CMSIX Entertainment released another article that the group would be revealing more details during the end of May or early June such as members revealing and more.
On May 1, 2022, the first member Byung Sohee was revealed, on May 2, 2022, The second member Analyn was revealed, on May 3, 2022, the third member Jin Chowon, on May 4, the fourth member Yiwen was revealed, on May 5, 2022, the fifth member Arisu was revealed. The sixth and final member Zhou Yi was revealed on May 6, 2022.
On May 7, 2022, the official profiles for the members were revealed with Yiwen taking the leader position.
on May 15, 2022, the group held their first V-Live together giving their official introduction and revealing the fandom name "clover", meaning the girls are lucky to have such amazing fans.
on June 1, 2022 LE FANCIER was shown to be participating on the summer festival Seoul Soul Summer in the rookies category, and they would be participating only on August 20 with a performance of the intro and a B-side of their debut album.
on June 8, 2022, a DisKover article noted LE FANCIER as one of the most anticipating debuts on the South Korean music industry for 2022, the group made it into the headline for the diversity, strong image, multitalented members. The article also highlighted each member, especially Analyn and Sohee.
Debut[]
on July 19, 2022, CMSIX Entertainment announced that LE FANCIER will make their official debut on August 28, 2022 with their first mini album THE FANCY.
2022-Present:[]
On October 3, 2022, a teaser involving a documentary for LE FANCIER was revealed across social media platforms titled BIRTH of LE FANCIER. The documentary would be revealing the behind the scenes of the group since the very beginning, original line-ups and more. The premiere for the first episode would be on November 1, 2022.
On December 16, 2022, CMSIX Entertainment announced that the group would be making their first comeback on January 11, 2023 with their second mini album WALK ON ICE.
On January 3, 2023, CMSIX Entertainment announced that Chowon would not be promoting with the group due to injuries while practicing for the comeback. She would come back when her injuries have been fully healed. The agency also revealed that she is included in the concept pictures and music video along-side other pre-recorded promotional videos for the comeback.
On March 13, 2023, CMSIX Entertainment revealed that Chowon would be joining back after being completely healed.
On June 19, 2023, CMSIX Entertainment announced that LE FANCIER would be making a comeback with the third mini album UNBREAKABLE. the mini is set for release on July 14, 2023.
on January 26, 2024, CMSIX Entertainment revealed that LE FANCIER would be making their next comeback on February 22, 2024, with their fourth mini album DEFINITION.
On September 2, 2024, CMSIX Entertainment revealed that LE FANCIER would be making their next comeback with their first album, CRACK. The album would be released on September 30, 2024.
