LAWI (Korean: 라위; Japanese: ラウイ) is a 7-members South Korean girl group under ASOUND Entertainment. They made their debut on September 13, 2024, with their first mini album My Odd Youth.
History[]
Pre-Debut[]
On February 20, 2023, ASOUND Entertainment announced that they have plans to re-debut the group with a fresh concept that they've been working right after promotions for their previous comeback ended. They announced that WONDERONE is disbanding.
Debut:[]
On June 1, 2024, ASOUND Entertainment announced that Hirai would be one of the members for the agency's upcoming girl group LAWI.
On July 1, 2024, Hirai was revealed as the first member of LAWI, followed by Wioong on July 2, who previously was a member of PRIZM, SAHARA and ESPER. Nayeon on July 3, who previously was in WONDERONE, Somin on July 4, Jooeun on July 5, who previously were members of the trainee group SAVAGE under Aurel Management, Hanase on July 6, who previously was in WONDERONE and Hyeongshin, who previously was a pre-debut member of NESW, on July 7 as the final member. On July 7, 2024, the profiles for the members were dropped alongside the announcement that LAWI will make their big debut on the third quarter-early fourth quarter of 2024.
On August 19, 2024, ASOUND Entertainment announced that LAWI will make their debut on September 13, 2024, with their first mini album My Odd Youth.
On September 1, 2024, LAWI's first live was held on YouTube where the fandom name AETER was revealed and a spoiler for the title track was given.
2025-Present:[]
On March 1, 2024, ASOUND Entertainment announced that LAWI would make their first comeback with their second mini album Drip. The mini would be released on March 24, 2025.
On August 29, 2025, ASOUND Entertainment announced that LAWI would be making their next comeback on September 22, 2025, with their third mini album LAWI and Order.
