LA'POSE (라포즈) is a Girl Group under MAGICALIFE Entertainment. They debuted on January 12th 2024 with the song "Over and Over." The group is comprised of 5 members: Hong Siyeon, Jeon Eunjoo, Ma Fanqia, Park Hiah and Meng Yiting.
History[]
2022-2023: Pre-Debut Activities as ML GIRLS, Group Name Reveal[]
In July 2022, MAGICALIFE Entertainment announced that they would be debuting another girlgroup in early 2024. Although LA'POSE (originally known under codename ML GIRLS) was intended to be a 6-member group, 1 trainee left the company for unknown reasons, and she was not replaced at the request of the members. As ML GIRLS they appeared at two events in late 2022. The name of the group was revealed in August 2023, with the name LA'POSE being a portmanteau of Latest Positiveness. At this time the fandom name was also announced, unusually for a predebut group, with the name PALZ being chosen by the members.
2024-Now: Debut with Over and Over[]
LA'POSE debuted on the January 12th 2024, with the release of their first mini-album OVER AND OVER, including title tracks "Over and Over" and "Jumpstart." They held their debut stage on the January 13th episode of Show! Music Core performing the song "Over and Over." After their appearance they gained some attention due to their unique edgy and colourful style, usually characterised by bright hairstyles, and their lyrics about societal issues. OVER AND OVER debuted at 65 on The Circle Album Chart on January 17th.
LA'POSE will release a new single, BE ME, in July 2024. This single will be part of a repackaged version of OVER AND OVER, entitled OVER AND OUT, featuring 3 new songs. The release date of this repackaged album is to be announced.

- Currently the member's hair colours correspond to their official colours.
- MAGICALIFE allegedly considered auditioning one of the girls for a popular survival show, but changed their mind last minute due to budget constraints. It is unclear what show this was, but fans believe that Yiting would be the most likely to have been the trainee in question as she was the last member added to the group.
- All members of the group have O blood type, apart from Yiting, who has A blood type.
