Kim Jiyoung (김지영) is a Korean journalist, broadcast host, and actress signed under TrialStart Studios; while primarily working for WONDACE Magazine & INSTANT TAP, Jiyoung is also available as a freelance writer occasionally. She is the host of HARMONY HAVEN.

Jiyoung is most known for her comfortable and laidback interviewing approach, which often has a way of resonating with panelists and guests to make them feel their best when on her talk shows. She's also acted in various small projects, such as "Red Light Sign" and "Sweetie Pie, I Might've Forgotten".

Early Life[]

Kim Jiyoung was born in Bugae-dong, Bupyeong-gu, Incheon, South Korea, to a growing family of five. As the eldest, most chores and work fell onto her as her parents worked hard and long to make enough for their family to live and make by. As young as sixteen, Jiyoung began working various odd jobs to help support them. It wasn't until a street casting director had seen her working at the cashier one day that she ended up being scouted as an actress. Uninterested in the field, Jiyoung only agreed as the paycheck given was massive. Surprisingly, despite only having a single line in her first ever project, she had begun to catch a large following among younger audience members. Now having to deal with newfound popularity, Jiyoung was propelled into the sudden limelight as a micro-celeb. Despite working diligently however, her full heart was never in it as she had only begun acting as a means of getting by.

At eighteen, she put a pause to all projects, now focusing on getting a degree in journalism; a field she was much more suited for and had personally loved. Following a two-year program in Canada, Jiyoung eventually came back to Korea, where she worked as an unpaid intern for various journalist firms before eventually signing under TrialStart Studios as a Journalist. She was later transferred to a different department, where she now works more closely for bigger companies and stations such as WONDACE Magazine and INSTANT TAP.

Career[]

From sixteen years old till she was eighteen, Jiyoung acted in various short films and larger scale projects, with her most notable works including "Red Light Sign", "Call Me SHEEP", and "Sweetie Pie, I Might've Forgotten". However she supposedly left acting as a career altogether once entering college in Vancouver, Canada.

After returning to Korea and signing under TrialStart, Jiyoung was offered positions as a journalist and translator for popular internet blogging and news update website INSTANT TAP, as well as a writing position for WONDACE Magazine.

In 2022, there were rumors circulating that a talk show, with Jiyoung as the host were in the works, however these claims were never addressed at the time.

On September 13, it was officially announced that Kim Jiyoung, alongside Na Junghwan, Lyla Yang, and Li Jian, would be the hosts of their own talk show, HARMONY HAVEN, which is planned to air on the 30th of the same month.
