Kaya Wu (吴咖啊) is a Chinese singer-songwriter under Source On China. she is a former member of the project girl group BASKET GIRLS 9 and a former member of the co-ed group TASTIC.

History[]

2017-2022:[]

She Trained under WaoHyu Entertainment for 2 years before debuting with TASTIC's Chinese sub-unit TICTAC. But due to some Conflicts with Member Goxy of the group, she decided to step out of the group and leave WaoHyu Entertainment.

In June 19, 2018 She joined WUU Entertainment, but the company decided to delay her debut, so she left WUU Entertainment.

In December 4, 2018 She signed an exclusive contract with SLEN Network, She got assigned into SLEN China's Label. Where she debuted on March 3, 2019 with the single Alternative. People starting recognizing her as the previous member of TASTIC So it showed her alot of success during her solo career, while it just started.

In July 7, 2019 she is having the 1st Mini-Album Paradise. Fans are hyped about her new songs.

She made her debut as a member of the project girl group BASKET GIRLS 9 on March 29, 2020.

2025-present:[]

On March 29, 2025, KROMS Beijing Studio announced that BASKET GIRLS 9 promotions would be ending and the members would be going separate ways.

On May 1, 2025, Source On China announced that Kalista Wu would be returning to the scene as a soloist under the name Kaya Wu.
