Joyce (조이스) is a Filipino-American singer currently under LSG Entertainment. She debuted on August 4, 2023 as a member DREAMSCAPE with the mini album "After School".
Early life[]
Joyce Maranan Borromeo was born on June 25, 2005 in Ketchikan, Alaska, USA to Filipino immigrant parents. She has 3 younger sisters. She dropped out from Ketchikan High School at age 16 to become a singer in Korea, and she was originally an FNC Entertainment trainee before joining LSG. Her family originates from Batangas City, Calabarzon, Philippines and visits there often.
Career[]
2023-2024: Debut with DREAMSCAPE[]
Borromeo was announced as the Leader, Main Vocal and oldest member of girl group DREAMSCAPE on July 8, 2023. The group debuted on August 4, 2023 with the mini album After School, on which Borromeo co-wrote the tracks "Attention", "Hype boy" and "Hurt".
DREAMSCAPE's second mini album Ear Candy was released on January 5, 2024. Borromeo co-wrote the 3rd track "Sugarcoat".
2024-present: SOUNDSCAPE[]
DREAMSCAPE released their debut English-language album SOUNDSCAPE on August 30, 2024. The album era began with the release of its lead single "Motivation" on May 24, 2024. Borromeo co-wrote the tracks "Feather", "Nice to meet you" and "Capable of love".
