Seo Jimin (서지민; born Choi Jimin) was a South Korean idol under DOLLY Entertainment. She is now currently an actress.

She made her idol debut with LOVEHOLIC on February 4, 1999 and departed from the group on June 12, 2005 because the group had officially disbanded. She made her acting debut on April 7th, 2006 with the K-Drama "Bright Life".

Jimin was born on February 14, 1982, in Busan, South Korea. At the age of 13 she began singing and dancing, she would sing everyday after school and was even apart of her school's chorus program. By the age of 16, she had debuted in LOVEHOLIC with Chaerin, Bomi, Sohyeon, Gaeul and Miyeon.

Debut with LOVEHOLIC[]

Jimin debuted with LOVEHOLIC on February 4, 1999, adapting the stage name "Jimin". Jimin was the most biased member of LOVEHOLIC having over 580,702 stans and 342,107 ult stans.

Position(s)[]

Jimin debuted as the Main Vocalist because of her vocal-tier (A), she was chosen as the Center due to her captivating facial expressions and obtained the Visual position because of her ethereal looks. The FOTG position was between her or Sohyeon but ultimately Sohyeon was chosen in the end.

Disbandment[]

Due to LOVEHOLIC's disbandment, Jimin's and several other's members in LOVEHOLIC idol career was cut short (excluding Bomi). Jimin decided to change career paths, she had experienced the idol-life and she thought it wasn't for her, so, she switched over to acting.

In 2003, DOLLY Entertainment officially released a statement saying that Jimin and Seo Hyukjae were dating, this was confirmed by the two idols.

Engagement & Marriage[]

Jimin and Hyukjae got engaged on September 15, 2006. On July 17, 2008, Jimin and Hyukjae officially got married, Hyukjae confirmed this on his twitter account. This changed Jimin's name from Choi Jimin to legally Seo Jimin.

On March 13, 2010, Jimin announced she was going to have a baby and it was expected to be a girl. On December 13, 2010, Jimin had officially given birth to a baby-girl. Jimin then revealed her name which was decided to be Seo Minji.
