Jang Jowon (장조원), or simply known as Jowon, is a Korean-American singer and rapper under ALLERIABEL. She is a member of the nine-member project group DREAMHOUR, a former member of ALLERIA, and a former contestant on My Rookie Idol.
Early Life[]
Jowon was born in Seoul, South Korea. Her father was born and raised in the United States, while her mother was born and raised in South Korea. She is the niece of former J.T.U member and retired actor Lee Rang. Her older sister, Jang Jiwon, is a former contestant on Planets - choose your habitat.
Career[]
2023-present: ALLERIA, departing from ALLERIA, My Rookie Idol, joining ALLERIABEL[]
On March 12, Jang Jowon was revealed as the final member of ALLERIA. She made her debut with them on March 24, with the single "Attention of Love". The week after, she debuted as an actress in the film Skyrocket.
On May 28, it was announced that Jang Jowon had left the group following disagreements with the agency about her acting career.
On September 25, it was announced that Jang Jowon and actor Jeong Beom Jong had joined the agency ALLERIABEL.
On November 11, it was announced she would be participating on MY ROOKIE IDOL. She placed 9th overall in the finale, allowing her to debut with the project group DREAMHOUR
On March 4, she debuted in DREAMHOUR with the mini album FIRST LOVE.
