Jamie (재미) is a Korean-American singer under cosmichaus. He is a member of the boy group seVenwrld and is among its vocal line.
He formerly participated on Lucky Star Academy! under his Korean name Lee Jaemin.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
In 2017, during a stint playing Lucas Beineke as part of his acting group's production of The Addams Family Musical, he was scouted by cosmichaus (then known as Kicking Music). The scouts, impressed by his singing, sought him out to offer a company card. Having not had any real interest in being an idol before, it was only at the encouragement of his younger sister did he send an online audition tape in. Though he hadn't expected to get far in the process, he accepted a trainee contract and promptly moved to Seoul to begin his training.
2018: Lucky Star Academy![]
In May, Jamie was announced as one of the contestants of DIAMOND Entertainment's survival show Lucky Star Academy! under his Korean name Lee Jaemin.
2023: Debut with seVenwrld[]
On June 3, Jamie was revealed as the third member of seVenwrld; cosmichaus' newest boy group venture following their acquisition by Diamond Labels.
seVenwrld debuted on July 20 with their first mini-album SEVENWRLD, headed by title track "THE 7TH WRLD."
Vanguard Assignment Ballots[]
On September 16, it was revealed that Jamie had ranked 8th in the First Vanguard Assignment Ballot, thus failing to be within the first iteration of 7WRLD VANGUARD's line-up.
