JΣПΣЯΛƬIӨП, Known As JENERATION Is A 7-member Multinational Girl Group Formed In 2019 Under Pixel Music. They Debuted In October 7, 2020 With Their Mini Album, Our Generations. Prior To Their Debut They Had Released Two Pre-debut Single: No Ordinary Person On November 29, 2019, And Love Call On January 17, 2020.

Their Creative Director Is Sop Hyeru, A Member Of The Group, TRUFL.

Name[]

The Term "JΣПΣЯΛƬIӨП" Comes From The Word "Generation". The Name Means To Thrive In To The New Generation And View Yourself In The Start Of A New Generation While Keeping The Vibes Of The Current Generation.

History[]

Pre-formation[]

Prior To The Formation Of The Group, The Members Already Had Pre-debut Activities Prior To The Group's Formation.

Jeon Minjoo Auditioned For Starscape Labels After Seeing A Poster Way Back Home. She Came From A Musically Oriented Family From Busan Of Whom Had Sung In Parties Before. She Joined Starscape Labels After Moving To Seoul. She Also Had Her Solo Careers. She Was Transferred To Pixel Entertainment In Order For Her To Debut In A Group.

Kang Hyejin, Of Whom Originally Wanted To Become A Volleyball Player And Had Competed In Some Highschool Volleyball Tournaments. She Decided To Audition For Pledis Entertainment After Being A Fan Of Music. There, She Trained For 3 Years Under Pledis Entertainment Until She Left In Late November 2018. Then, She Joined Pixel Entertainment By Late December 2018.

Kim Daesoo Came From A Religious Family And Had No Interest In Music At First Sight, But Later On Got Interested In Figure Skating. At Age 8, She Had Started Her Careers As A Figured Skater. She On 2015 She Then Was Offered By Starship Entertainment, But Then Rejected The Offer. Then On 2016, She Was Offered By RBW Entertainment And Accepted The Offer, Therefore Joining RBW. She Left RBW Entertainment On Early January 2019 And Joined Alongside Her Twin In Pixel Entertainment A Few Days Later. She Retired From Figure Skating On 2019.

Kim Daerin, Of Whom Also Came From A Religious Family And Initially Had No Interest In Music Later On Wanted To Be A Musician. She Also Had Show Full Support For Her Twin. Both Of Her Parents Accept The Decision And On 2015, She Auditioned For RBW Entertainment And Joined The Company After Getting Accepted. She Left RBW Entertainment In Mid-December 2018 After 2 Years Of Training Under The Company. She Later Joined Pixel Entertainment A Few Days Later.

Charlotte Samika Shinoharu, Of Whom Had Lived In An Ordinary Life Was Scouted In 2018 While Coming Back From Ballet Class, A Pixel Entertainment Staff Then Encountered Her. There, The Staff Then Scouted Her. Samika Joined Pixel Entertainment After Being Scouted.

Edith Rachel Wong, Of Whom Was Just An Ordinary Kid That Originally Wanted To Become An Entrepreneur Decided To Become An Idol After Listening To A Lot Of K-Pop Music And On June 2018, When Pixel Entertainment Was A Very New Company, She Discovered An Ad Of Pixel Entertainment.

Li Shenmi, Of Whom Was Part Of A Dance Crew, G-ZA Was Offered To Join Pixel Entertainment After The Company Sees A Dance Cover Video. On 2018, She Was Offered By Pixel Entertainment To Join Their Company And After Accepting It, She Graduated From The Dance Crew.

2019: Pre-debut, No Ordinary Person[]

On May 15, Pixel Entertainment Announces On Planning To Debut 2 Groups By 2020.

On August 9, They Reveal The Group Name, JΣПΣЯΛƬIӨП.

Then On September 3, l Daerin, Aster (Annie At The Time) And Shenmi. Then A Day Later, They Revealed Minjoo, Hyejin, Samika And Edith Wong.

On November 29, They Release Their First Pre-debut Single, No Ordinary Person. Prior To This, It Was Originally Gonna Be Released On November 24, But Due To The Wake Of Goo Hara's Passing, The Release Was Postponed To Pay Respect To Her And Her Family.

2020: Love Call, Debut With "Our Generations"[]

On January 17, The Group Releases Another Pre-debut Single, Love Call.

On September 15, Pixel Entertainment Release A Teaser For The Group's Debut Mini Album On October 7, And On September 26, The Group's Official Account Releases The Members' Teaser Photos. They Debuted On October 7 With Our Generations.

2021: Girl Next Door, Japanese Debut With "Heartfelt Sensation", Good Move![]

On February 9, The Group's Official Account Announces Their Comeback With Their Second Mini Album, Girl Next Door Which Was Released On February 23.

On June 15, The Group Releases Their First Japanese Mini Album, Heartfelt Sensation.

On October 6, A Teaser Was Released For The Upcoming Album, Good Move! Of Which Was Released On October 24. This Was Well Received Especially Among BETAs And Went On Top 1 In The Spotify Top 50 In 9 Countries.

2022: COVID-19, Spring Lily, Throughout This Time, What Time Is It?[]

Unfortunately On March 13, Samika Tested Positive For COVID-19 While Being Asymptomatic, Leading To The Postponement Of The Group's Activities. Fortunately, She Recovered Within 6 Days. Despite Minjoo Testing Negative, She Was In Close Contact With Samika, Therefore Was Put In Quarantine For 10 Days.

On April 7, The Group's Released Their Digital Single, Spring Lily.

On July 20, They Released Their Single, Throughout This Time.

On October 10, She Halts Her Activities For A Week Due To Flu Symptoms She Experienced Following A Flu Season.

On November 22, They Released Their Japanese Single, What Time Is It?

2023: Black & White, Spice-EE, Spice-UP, Streets Of Moonlight, 3 Years Of Time[]

On January 6, the group's announce the upcoming EP, Black & White.

On June 10, The Group Announces The Group's Comeback With The First Studio Album, Spice-EE.

On June 19, The Group Was Confirmed To Have Their First World Tour Spice-UP, Which Held On July 4.

On That Same Month In June, They Released A Single For Summer Smiles Project.

On August 7, JENERATION Released A New Japanese Single, "Streets Of Moonlight".

On November 1, It Was Announced That Edith Won't Participate For The Remainders Of The Spice-UP World Tour Following Her Solo Debut On November 10, Therefore The Group Will Continue The Remainders Of The World Tour As 6.

On December 13, Shenmi Had Taken A Surgery For Appendicitis. She Discharged From The Hospital 2 Days Later On December 15.

2024: English Debut, C♡DE N30N, 祝祭の家 (House Of Celebration), Trampoline, C♡DE M!DN1GHT[]

On November 14, 2023, It Was Announced That JΣПΣЯΛƬIӨП Will Make Their Comeback Somewhere In May 2024 And Will Make Their Pre-release 2 Months Earlier In March.

On February 19, The Group's Twitter Released A Teaser Of The Group's First English Digital Single, "I Got The Feels" On March 1.

On May The Group Released Their Second Studio Album, "C♡DE N30N". The Title Track, "Feel The Vibe" Is Very Well Received By Fans And Critics And It Became One Of The Most Popular Songs From The Group And The Album Itself Becoming One Of The Best Selling.

On June 15, They Achieved Their First Triple Crown In MBS Rankdown.

On June 17, They Released Their First Remix Single, "Feel The Vibe (Remix)" Which Included The Sped Up And Slowed + Reverb Versions Of The Song.

On August 5, The Group Will Release Their Japanese EP, "祝祭の家 (House Of Celebration)" On August 15. It Was Also Speculated That They Will Have Their Comeback On November 26 With "C♡DE M!DN1GHT", Of Which Was Later Confirmed By The Group.

On October 19, They Will Release Their Pre-release Digital Single, "Trampoline" On October 28.

On December 2, They Achieved Their First Daesang In Hangang Artistry Awards For Artist Of The Year.

2025: Leadership Changes, C♡DE CH4S3[]

On December 9, 2024, It Was Confirmed That After Long Hours Of Discussion And Decision Making, It Was Confirmed That Daerin Will Step Down As The Group's Leader By February 2025 And The Leadership Will Change. The Group's New Leader Is Confirmed To Be Samika. Then On That Same Month, The Group Will Release C♡DE CH4S3 On April 20.
