I-Dream α (Korean: 알파-아이드림; also known as Alpha; I-Dream) is an 2024 girl group reality survival show created by SBC. It premiered April 19, 2024 at 20:50 and the finale was aired on June 21, 2024, where the girl group IPSSILON was formed.
A sequel featuring male trainees, I-Dream β is set to premiere sometime in 2025.
Background[]
On February 1, 2024, SBC dropped the first teaser for I-Dream α, confirmed that the survival show is returning for a second season again with female trainees, SBC also confirmed that in this season only 6 trainees will get to debut on a group.
Episode 0 aired on April 12, 2024 with getting to know the trainees before the show begins, the show also revealed that voting has started and people can vote for 6 of their favorite trainees.
On April 22, 2024, the official stage for the signal song RUN was released with trainee Ji Hasun as the center.
At the end of the show it was revealed that a second team would be formed and would be debuting after the main group debuts.
