Heli☼sa (ヘリオサ / 헬리오사) is a five-member J-Pop girl group under Olympic Records Japan. They debuted on July 17, 2019 with the single Sun Shine Sunshine! Member Kaisa departed from the group in February 2023. Member Saria was added to the group in March 2023.
The group confirmed their formal Korean debut would be happening in the summer season of 2023.
History[]
Pre-Debut[]
Members Koromi & Hana were revealed as members of Olympic Records' training team, DEMIGXDS, in 2014. Koromi assumed the stage name 'Mako' whilst Hana was introduced under her birth name. Both members left the line-up in 2016 following the debut of The Muses and were subsequently transferred to the company's Japanese branch, Olympic Records Japan, then at the time simply an internal project. They released singles under the project duo KONA.
Member Kaisa was a former member of 3EM.
2019: Debut with Sun Shine Sunshine![]

2023: Departure of Kaisa[]
On February 6, it was reported that Kaisa had departed from the group, citing a growing love for the K-Pop scene as a result of the group working on their debut K-Pop album. Insiders reported that she had signed a trainee contract with Olympic Records but nothing had been confirmed. Olympic Records Japan released a statement confirming that Kaisa had been released from her contract and that they had no immediate plans to return the line-up to a five-piece.
On March 25, it was announced that DEMIGXDS member Saria would be debuting within the group. A representative from Olympic Records Japan confirmed that, after Saria was receptive to the idea of joining Heli☼sa, conversations began to be put in place. She is set to make her formal debut with the group with their first Korean release.
