Heeju (희주), formerly known as Heejoung (희정), is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a former member of the group Po1s0nz and Once.1.
Early Life[]
Heeju was born in Cheongju, South Korea. She has 1 younger sister and 1 older brother.
Career[]
2022-2023: Once.1[]
On May 30, 2022, she was announced as a new member of Once.1 under the name Heejoung. She made her debut with them with their third single "Baby, You" on June 27.
On July 27, 2023, Heejoung announced her departure due to personal reasons.
2024-present: Po1s0nz[]
Sometime in March of 2024, two members, identified as "Yousung" and "Ahyoung" were seen performing with the group, followed by 2 new members, identified as "Yerang" and "Seonyul", and finally 2 new members, identified as "Heeju" and "Jisung". Global Starcamp Entertainment clarified that the new members were essentially trainees under the company and were testing to see which trainees will be able to join Po1s0nz.
On May 29, 2024, Global Starcamp Entertainment announced the additions of Heeju and Seomoon Yerang.
She made her debut with them on July 24, 2024, with the single "Do It Like Me".
On July 26, Global Starcamp Entertainment announced the departures of Inyul, Heeju, and Namhee due to unknown circumstances.
