Hanako Utsubari (梁 珠), known as Yangshin, simply Shin (양신) in South Korea is a Japanese-Hongkonger singer, actress, and model. She was well known as a former member of the girl group, DLHT.

She debuted as a member of DLHT in 1998. She is the lead vocalist, visual, and maknae of the group. In 2000, she left the group because to pursue more on her studies.

Early life[]

Shin was born as Hanako Utsubari or Liang Xin on February 15, 1982 in Sakae, Nagoya, Japan. Her mother is a retired Japanese actress and her father is a businessman in Hong Kong. She has a younger brother named Jurae from the boy group, U.T.Tmoon. In her second year of high school, her family moved to South Korea for her father's business and studied in Korean school.

Career[]

Pre-debut[]

Shin was playing the violin in orchestras at such a young age.

She accidentally got scouted by FISS Entertainment by singing a Korean folk song while looking for Jurae. She made her first appearance in a magazine with U.T.Tmoon, as a new member for the second album.[1]

1998-2000: Debut with DLHT, breakthrough[]

On August 31, 1998, she debuted as a member of DLHT with their first album, MAXIMIZATION along with the title track, "My Baby". The group gained popularity because of being the "female version" of U.T.Tmoon.

After the second album promotions, Shin was commanded to left the group, along with Jurae by her parents. Their parents told them to go back to their home country and focus on their studies.

Current life[]

She is now working as an actress and model in the US. She is also an opera singer in Japan.
