HaleBOPP (Korean: 헤일밥; Japanese: ヘールボップ; sometimes stylized as halebopp) is a 7-member girl group under GONE. They made their debut on May 17, 2024 with their first single album Ce-LEST.
History[]
Pre-Debut:[]
On June 23, 2023, the newly established subsidiary of GoUp Entertainment, GONE, revealed two trainees that would prepare to debut in the agency's first girl group. Two trainees who participated on Way to Idol: Multidimension for BRIGHT Entertainment were revealed, Heenam and Taeram.
On September 11, 2023, GONE revealed two more trainees who were part of the survival show I-Dream, Jihyun and Dasom. the agency revealed that the trainee's would be going by the group name GONE GIRL until further announcements regarding the group's debut.
On October 4, 2023, The team uploaded their first cover "Want U Back" by Cher Lloyd showcasing their vocals.
On December 1, 2023, Haerim and Heeseon were revealed as the newest trainees to join GONE GIRL.
On January 1, 2024, GONE revealed that they will begin the process of working towards the group's debut in the first half of 2024.
Debut:[]
on April 12, 2024, GONE revealed that the group would be debuting on May of 2024 under the name HaleBOPP. They began the member process reveal starting with Haerim on April 13, Nami (Heenam) on April 14, Heeseon on April 15, Taeram on April 16, Jihyun on April 17, Dasom on April 18 and the final member Jaewon, whom previously ranked 8th on the survival show NEXT IN CLASS, on April 19.
On April 29, 2024, GONE announced that HaleBOPP would be making their debut on May 17, 2024, with their first single album Ce-LEST.
2024-Present:[]
On October 18, 2024, GONE revealed that HaleBOPP would be making their first official comeback on November 11, 2024, with their first mini album "Opposite Direction".
On June 11, 2025, GONE announced that HaleBOPP would be making a comeback with their second mini album Descent on July 2, 2025.
