The company. originally known as Win Time Entertainment, was established on January 6, 1995, in Yongmun-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea by folk soloist-songwriter Bong Haejung. Originally serving as a way to manage his activities, he eventually opened up auditions to join the company. The auditions, named the Win Big Time Audition, allowed for males and females to audition for the company at any age. On the same day, he would establish the program WIN BIG TIME.

During the course of 1995, 12 trainees were selected to train in the company. Bong would eventually announce that the agency plans to debut their first act, a trio, in 1996. According to now soloist and former trainee Ham Hwanjoon, spots for the trio were very competitive, as the agency did not decide which gender the trio would be. Eventually, a male trio was decided.

On January 26, 1996, Win Time Entertainment revealed the trio ChiYuIn to be debuting on February 4. The members were revealed to be Chihyung, Yunhwan, and Inseongin. The trio made their debut with the single "Missing U". The single received negative feedback, as fans criticized on Yunhwan's vocals and the dancing being super out of sync. The trio later disbanded a month later due to member Chihyung wanting to focus on a solo career under the company.
