HEADLINE (헤드라인) was an 11-member boy group under And On Company. They made their debut on March 9, 2023, with the studio album HEADLINE - Make The News.
They presumably disbanded due to inactivity, as their comeback was unexpectedly cancelled. Jang Sebin later confirmed the group's disbandment on September 21.
Their name means to make the "headline" on news regarding their talents and success.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
Prior to the formation of HEADLINE, members Jang Sebin and Moon Gayoung were former members of GEATS.
After the disbandment of girl group BEVERY, social media accounts by the name of HEADLINE appeared. It was soon announced that HEADLINE is a pre-debut group under And On. Members were revealed each day, starting with Seo Hanbin on December 10, Han Ahyeon on December 11, Min Seungkwan on December 12, Yang Namwoo on December 13, Yong Byeongchul on December 14, Jung Heejun on December 15, Kwak Nuri on December 16, Ju Jinseol on December 17, and finally Jang Sebin on December 18.
A week later, it was announced members Yang Namwoo, Seo Hanbin, Jung Heejun, and Kwak Nuri would not be debuting with the group.
On January 7, it was announced Seo Yeongseo, Seon Minseung, Kim Hangyeom, and Park Deungung would be joining the group as new members.
On February 1, it was announced Moon Gayoung would be joining the group.
2023: Debut[]
On February 1, a teaser was posted of the upcoming debut on March 9. On March 4, they revealed they would be debuting on March 9 with their first studio album titled HEADLINE - Make The News.
2024: Disbandment[]
On September 21, Jang Sebin announced on a Instagram live that the group has disbanded.
