Han Iseul (한이슬) known professionally by his stage name Hanseul or his producer title HAN.SEUL is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer signed under Picture Music. He first gained attention for his rising potential as a producer despite being known as a "newbie" in the industry. His talents and artistry were recognized even before he rose to stardom. Before becoming an idol, he was an unknown yet aspiring producer who enjoyed experimenting with different genres and sounds in his music. He later debuted as a member of HEART2HEART as a vocalist on February 15, 2019, and since then, he has been praised for his original works. Becoming known as his group's sole producer, his most notable works are his group's various title tracks which he wrote and produced himself.
Early life[]
Hanseul (pre-debut)
Hanseul was born in Gwangju, South Korea to two loving parents who supported him in everything he did and tried their best to cater to his antics. As a kid, he never really expressed any interest in doing anything really which he wasn't ashamed of either. It was comforting to him to just sit around the entire day and do nothing. But as he grew older, his curiosity got the best and worst of him. While he watched other kids play together and have fun at the playground, he would stay by his parent's side, observing the others from a small distance. As much as he wanted to join the other kids, he never had the guts to make the first move. He thought he never really had a place in society. His life felt blank and he felt empty. This particular habit from his childhood would catch up to him as he grew up into his teenage years.
During this time, he usually isolated himself in his room as he developed an interest in music. He had gotten into K-Pop after watching countless videos online on his laptop. This interest slowly expanded into him taking a liking to produce music. Moreover, he attended an all-boy's high school and he was always given the right opportunities to get himself out there. His parents always encouraged him to take part in the activities such as clubs or events at school to finally get him out of his comfort zone. To his parent's dislike, he ignored his parent's remarks and stayed inside his little bubble. This pretty much ruined his relationship with his parents as they were worried about his well-being and ability able to succeed as an adult. Though, it wasn't until his second year of high school that he realized his mistake. He had missed out on so much and he wouldn't be able to take back the time he wasted.
His mental health spiraled after his realization and it only got worse until he was pulled out of school by his parents. He barely had anyone by his side to comfort him and his parents had no idea what was going on in his life anymore. His only source of comfort was the music he would repeat countlessly in his room, all alone. Despite this, he slowly grew comfortable with being by himself as he was able to think freely without any distractions. As he got more into producing music, he was able to build up confidence and an eager passion to pursue a career in music. Soon enough, he applied to School Of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) and became a student there. As a member of the practical music department, he honed his skills in making music and improved his songwriting abilities. He felt as if he had finally found his rightful place.

Hanseul's personality is described to have changed drastically since he was a child and up until now. When he was younger, he had a quiet demeanor that made him appear boring or "plant-like" to others as he never really expressed himself and his emotions. Nowadays, he's more confident in himself and is more comfortable with showing his true self to other people. He used to struggle with social anxiety so his sudden carefree and cheery vibe may come off as weird or kooky but he's only like this because he's excited to talk to someone. As someone who struggles with severe FOMO, he forces himself to try new things even if he feels uncomfortable with them in order to step outside of his comfort zone. He also dislikes having to refuse or say "no" when asked something as he feels guilty whenever he refuses something. He also gets easily curious about things which can distract his attention span even when he has no clue that he's distracted himself. He's described to be someone who has a curious outlook on the world and honestly just goes with the flow with a cheery smile on his face.

Career[]
2018-2021: Debut in HEART2HEART and group hiatus[]
Shortly after becoming a student at SOPA, Hanseul began his journey in K-Pop. While preparing himself as a student at the well-renowned performing arts high school, he started to become more interested in music production. In his first year there, he excelled in the studies he learned in the practical music department. During this time, he opened his first YouTube Channel and began posting small snippets of music he had produced on his own. After a video of his went viral, he was scouted by Picture Music and was given the opportunity to debut as an idol. In the beginning of 2019, he was revealed as a member of his company's newest boy group. On February 15, 2019, Hanseul officially debuted as a member of HEART2HEART with the release of their first single album, Let's Love. Being able to debut as an idol was unreal to him so he was ecstatic and when he was told that he would be allowed to produce the group's songs, he was even more ecstatic. During the group's promotions, he gained attention online for his facial expressions due to always having a big smile visible on his face onstage when they performed.

After the group's debut, he was told that he had approximately two months to produce songs for the group's first comeback which was set in June. He was fazed by the timing and even proposed an extension but was denied by the company. Following the end of the group's promotions in late February, he quickly started to work on producing a new set of songs. Working under pressure and a time limit was both a motivator and a de-motivator. His procrastination issues got the best of him most of the time but whenever he got to work, he would push himself to his limits for hours as he worked. By the time, he was finished he was mentally and physically exhausted but he was proud of his work. Soon the group had their first-ever comeback on June 21, 2019, with their second single album, Let's Connect. The album was praised for its bright concept but the group's album sales dropped drastically compared to their debut album sales and with the COVID-19 pandemic, it left the group in a rough patch. The company's CEO announced that the group would be going on hiatus until further notice. To Hanseul's disappointment, he wondered what they did wrong but respected the decision. During the two-year hiatus, he kept himself busy at SOPA and continued to further improve his production skills.
2022: Exo Planet 999[]
After the group's lack of success, he was told along with Fang that they were going to be sent to the newest Mnet survival show, Exo Planet 999. If the two didn't do well on the show, the group would be forced to disband. Once again, he had all the power to decide his group's fate and the pressure was nerve-wracking to him. He was revealed as a contestant but left the show prior to its filming for unknown reasons.
