Girls Planet: Connected Together (少女星球 : 连接在一起) is an Large-Scale Upcoming Chinese Survival-Competition Show where Trainees all across China will be competing to form a final girl group of 9 members. The show will premiere on December 31, 2022.
History[]
on April 2, 2022, SLEN China and HUEN & M Entertainment announced their project collaboration for the Chinese edition of the South Korean survival show Girls Planet 999 that would be focused only on Chinese female trainees, details would be revealed throughout the upcoming months.
On June 20, 2022, SLEN China and HUEN & M Entertainment revealed Girls Planet: Connected Together, on an article they stated the following:
"Girls Planet: Connected Together is survival show spin-off from the South Korean survival show Girls Planet 999, this time, the show would be fully focused on Chinese trainees all across China including Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Chinese female citizen outside of China, bringing all talents to form the ultimate girl group."
After the article was fully published they announced that auditions were opened till July 20, 2022 from the ages of 16 to 26.
on November 25, 2022, the first teaser for the contestants was posted, with the official premiere of the show being on December 31, 2022, with Episode 0.
On December 3, 2022, The trainers for the show were revealed to be Song Yuhua and Huade Shen for the vocal team, Cheng Xia and Wang Suyin (RAINBOW CANDY) for the dance team, Qui Zhaoji and CheerZIE. The planet masters would be rising star celebrity singer Xenheva Mei and All-rounder Gao Fengyue.
