Girls' Fantasy 2 (소녀 판타지 2) is an Upcoming Large-Scale Survival-Reality show focused on forming a global sensation girl group and It is the second season of the survival show Girls' Fantasy. It is scheduled to premiere sometime early 2024.
Concept[]
Girls' Fantasy focuses on female contestants from the ages of 16 and up who have dreamt to make their debut as successful idols. The girls are send onto a training camp called "fantasy land" and would be showcasing their talent on different exciting stages until the final group debuts with an undisclosed number of members so far. The first season debuted 8 members under the name FANTASM.
This time, the group will promote for two years in an exclusive contract. The final group will not be managed by TECO Entertainment this time.
History[]
On May 1, 2023, TMT revealed that Girls' Fantasy would be returning for a second season, scheduled for early 2024. They announced that auditions would be opened from June 1 to July 24, 2023. Shortly after TMT went underfire for announcing a second season where Girls' Fantasy: Japan was just announced by Japanese network TokiToki.
On May 10, 2023, TMT released a statement saying that the spin-off Girls' Fantasy: Japan would be revamped by TokiToki on their own vision and style which would make it a stand-alone survival show. The agency also said that the schedules for the show's are different so both show's wont overlap.
On April 12, 2024, TMT revealed that Girls' Fantasy 2 will be airing on June 1 of 2024.
