GIRLS DEBUT GUIDE (소녀 데뷔 가이드) is an upcoming girl group survival show created by SCS. It is scheduled to air on August 15, 2024.
History[]
On June 21, 2024, SCS posted the first teaser for their newest girl group survival show GIRLS DEBUT GUIDE. The premise of the survival show is to showcase the birth of a girl group that will go through different tests before finally achieving the dream of becoming the new wave global K-Pop girl group. The show is scheduled to air on August of 2024.
On July 10, 2024, it was revealed that the trainees on GIRLS DEBUT GUIDE have no prior evaluation by the show's production team or any assessment tests prior to their Episode 1 and 2 auditions. This will be an entire new take on survival shows. SCS confirmed that 72 Trainees would be participating on the show and would be revealed during the first and second episodes.
The first 6 episodes votes and eliminations are purely decided by the mentor team, the 4 last episodes the votes and eliminations are decided purely by fans.
On August 1, 2024, SCS uploaded the signal song "START TO FINISH" music video on their YouTube channel. Introducing all 72 trainees a few hours later on the agency's official website. scsgdg.co.kr
The show would premiere on August 15, 2024.
