GENTLECATZ (Korean: 젠틀캣츠; RR: jenteulkaecheu) is a 7-member multinational male supergroup project under DEIA Entertainment and EL Entertainment. They debuted on February 2, 2024 with their first studio album Shoot That Shot!.
History[]
2023: Pre-debut[]
On May 15, 2023, DEIA Entertainment announced its plans to debut a first-ever seven-member multinational male supergroup project of 4th generation debuted idols with the group's concept will be announced soon and had partnership with EL Entertainment to work on the group.
On November 27, 2023, DEIA Entertainment announced that the name of the seven-member multinational male supergroup project would be GENTLECATZ, and their chosen concept is Kawaii-core, softcore and cat-core.
2024-present: Debut with Shoot That Shot![]
On January 1, 2024, a teaser posted across DEIA Entertainment and EL Entertainment's social medias announced their multinational male supergroup project, GENTLECATZ would be debuting on February 2, 2024 with their first studio album, titled Shoot That Shot!. "Cute Things (귀여운 것들 / かわいいもの / 可爱的东西 / 可愛的東西 / 得意嘅嘢)" serves as the first pre-released single on January 19, "Claws" serves as the second pre-released single on January 26, "Playful, Careful" serves as the third pre-released single on January 29, and "Shoot That Shot!" serves as the lead single for their first studio album on February 2.
