Fu Jin (Chinese: 符金; Korean: 푸진), also simply known as Jin (진), is a Chinese singer, influencer, and model under YR Entertainment. He's a member of the boy group BOY to Kiss, and the project boy group WE:ONE.
Early life[]
Fu Jin was born in Tianjin, China on February 14, 1999, to undisclosed parents. He's believed to be an only child but nothing has ever been confirmed.
He grew up living an average life, being a good student. He stated that he wasn't very popular throughout high school. Upon graduating high school, Fu Jin took 3 years off due to family issues, but shortly after began to attend university in Hong Kong, majoring in computer science.
Career[]
2021-present: Modeling career, Find Your DREAM, BOY to Kiss[]
At age 21 he decided to start working out. He started doing photoshoots by age 22, getting many offers to model for underwear brands. After 2 years Fu Jin found so much success in modeling, that he decided to drop out of university, seeing no use in continuing his computer science degree. He soon after opened his social media accounts
Upon dropping out of university, Fu Jin began to put on a "himbo" persona online despite being a very intelligent man. The false persona he put on garnered him a lot of attention both in China, and abroad.
Fu Jin soon reached massive numbers on his social media pages, gaining the interest of many agencies looking to represent him. In early 2024, he announced that he would be represented by HIEX China.
On June 17, 2024, it was announced that Fu Jin would be appearing on the South Korean survival program, Find Your DREAM. In the final episode, Soulful 1 were eliminated, but it was announced that the members' companies would come together to debut them as WE:ONE.
On December 30, 2024, Fu Jin, along with Thorn, was announced to be joining the pre-existing boy group BOY to Kiss under the stage name Jin, making them an 8 member group. They were also announced to have a comeback in early 2025.
