Fear Factor Grand Prix (Korean: 피어 팩터 그랑프릭스) is a South Korean reality competition program created by MBS and based on American reality survival game show "Fear Factor". The show itself was inspired from Indian adaptation of Fear Factor, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. The premise of the show involves sixteen idols competing against each other to show and must embrace their biggest fears as their own.
The tagline for the show is "Face your might of fear, be ready and fight for your desire".
The program was hosted by Ji Byungwol of REVICE. The show pitted contestants against each other in a variety of stunts; to compete against each other in a championship episode for the show's grand prize of titular winner name "God of Fearless" and ₩150,000 as a prize.
Overview[]
"Imagine a world where your greatest fears become reality. Welcome to the Fear Factor Grand Prix. Each show, sixteen celebrities would make a battle each other in extreme stunts. These stunts are designed to challenge the contestants both physically and mentally. If the contestant is too afraid to complete a stunt, they're eliminated. If they fail a stunt, they're eliminated. But if they succeed, they will be one step closer to the grand prize, to be able become "God of Fearless"."
Formats[]
This show were hosted by REVICE's Byungwol. Fear Factor Grand Prix are using the format of sixteen idols or actors from South Korea or outside Korea to be competing the show. As the show started, Byungwol wils gives a verbal disclaimer. The wording has changed with certain versions, but this is one commonly used:
"The challenges you are about to see were designed and tested by trained professionals. They are extremely ludicrous and should never be attempted by anyone, anywhere, or at anytime."
Prizes[]
The winner of Fear Factor Grand Prix will receive a titular winner name "God of Fearless", ₩150,000 and a golden medal as a winner's prize, while for the runner-up received ₩100,000 and a silver medal and lastly for the third place would received ₩50,000 and bronze medal.

Episode ZERO[]
This episodes shows and introducing the sixteen celebrities to have a first meeting. Then, Byungwol, who was the main host are join the show and he would explain what are the show would it be and where the challenge's place will be take.
Episode 1: Grand Premiere Week[]
The show started with showing the arena in Spain. Then, the celebrities have arrived and they were given their first task by Byungwol.
Challenge[]
The first mission is counting the money inside the locked room. The objective for the first mission is:
- They must count the money given by the stunts with the right amount.
- Make sure they didn't get interrupted by a bunch of a bees.
- After they finished counting the money, they would rang the bell faster and guess the amount of money with the right answer.
- If they guessed the amount correctly, they would later exempted from pre-elimination stunts and elimination round, and soon would advanced to the next week's challenge.
RESULTS: In the end of the first mission, Aureole, Harumi, Hyunah, Taerae, Mia, Yubin and Isamu, who was succeed their challenge by counting the money with the right amount would automatically march on the next week's round, while for the rests nine losing contestants would have a pre-elimination round after the challenge.
Pre-elimination Round[]
Here is the objective for the first pre-elimination mission is:
- They must figured out which among five-colored of wire bomb should be cutted in five minutes to save their phone from the explosions.
RESULTS: In the end of the pre-elimination mission, Minju, Mingmei, Karina, Ryder, Sento and Eunwoo, who was succeed their challenge were later exempted from the elimination round and the rest three bottom contestants would soon meet their destiny.
1st Elimination Round[]
RESULTS: Kyubin, Naeun and Yoonbyul, who among the three bottom contestants stand up through the cannon. Then, Byungwol had to announced for eliminated someone. And that, among the three bottom contestants, Goo Yoonbyul ended up being the first contestants to be eliminated and received a worm cannon bombed punishment.
Episode 1.5: Partner Selections[]
This episode show which among the fifteen contestants will be paired up into a partner. And there's only one option, they must draw the paper inside the small box to determinated the partner would it be.
