"Fake and True" is the first Japanese maxi single of K-pop boy group Anomii. It was released through Apple Entertainment in March 2026 with "Horn On My Head (Japanese ver.)" and "(Give Me All The) Sick Love" as the B-sides.

RELEASE[]

Two sets of teasers were unveiled on their official Japanese social media accounts leading up to the release of "Fake and True":

  • "Fact Box Ver." - Each of the seven members are in individual box sets that are painted in muted versions of their representative colors. They wear hoodies or streetwear that blend in with the background colors, while holding different objects like clipboards, briefcases, telephones, or notebooks. On the walls are random silly English signages such as "Objects In My Mirror Seem Different Than They Appear", "It's Hell Out Here!", "All Lies Must Go", "Stay Off The Deadly Tracks", or "Watch Out For The Deception Behind You".
  • "Frutiger Ver." - Embodying the trendy Frutiger Aero aesthetic, the seven members stand in colorful desktop wallpaper like backgrounds, with clear blue skies, hazy grasslands, and rows of concrete box skyscrapers reminiscent of East Asian city skylines. All of them are wearing suits or white buttoned-up shirts.

The accompanying music video for "Fake and True" was released on YouTube and other major video-sharing platforms on the same day as the maxi single. Directed by Osaka-based studio Vikings Productions, the music video begins with the seven members nonchalantly facing each other in the middle of a circular office, before turning around and sitting in identical desks with Frutiger Aero screensavers in their computers. Choreography scenes take place in different box sets, including a plain white background contrasting with black detective-style outfits, and a colorful box set in which the members wear futuristic outfits. In some fascinating visual shots, Hyunwoo is sitting on the surface of a giant phone in the middle of the ocean, while Wonchan is conducting a lie detector test on Sungwon in the middle of an endless bamboo forest.
