FUSE's upcoming, unnamed girl group is currently under the planning stages. Their debut is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.
History[]
Pre-debut[]
On January 8, 2025, Kwak Yo-seob, co-founder and president of FUSE, announced that the studio is in the early stages of development on two new acts: a boy band and a girl group, with the latter set to debut in the summer of the year. Later that March, Kwak announced that the group would be produced by Runa Park.
In April, five female trainees, rumoured to be members of the girl group, were spotted at the Tokyo-Narita International Airport. On April 29, FUSE announced that their upcoming girl group would target a debut in the third quarter of 2025. The agency introduced them as "a next-generation creator crew" due to the members’ active role in producing their own music and choreography, as well as contributing to projects for senior FUSE artists, and positioning them as "a new era of J-pop." It was also confirmed that the group will have a five-member lineup.
On May 26, FUSE CEO Ayasa Tamura revealed that the company is preparing to unveil the members of their girl group, revealing each of the five members individually starting on May 29. Pop culture critic Jun Inoue stated that "in an era where the lines between artist and creator are becoming increasingly blurred, it's exciting to see a group positioned as a 'next-generation creator crew.' It’s refreshing, but also a challenge—can they balance this self-driven approach with the expectations of J-pop fans who still crave polished, image-focused performances? That’s what will make or break this group."
