FEARLESS (Chinese: 不怕少女; Pinyin: Bùpà shàonǚ) is an upcoming 12-members girl group under NEW WAVE Entertainment. The line-up consist of Top 12 contestants on the Chinese survival show You Can Do It: Time To Finish!. They will debut sometime this year with their first album Girls are FEARLESS.
History[]
On September 13, 2021, HUEN & M Entertainment alongside SLEN China announced their collaborative project for the third season of the survival show You Can Do It! titled You Can Do It: Time To Finish!. The show would be officially starting on January 1, 2022, and would last till May 1, 2022 and this season would be focused on a different aspect for a Girl Group. The new group would be managed by the joint venture of HUEN & M Ent. and SLEN China called NEW WAVE Entertainment.
On May 1, 2022, in the finale, the Top 12 was revealed as follows: Cheng Yuying, Zheng Xiuyan, Meng Chenyi, Zhu Shengxuan, You Yue, Yuan Zhimin, Cui Zhenyu, Zhou Xiangya, Wu Suyin, Yin Caiyuan, Liu Yijin and taking the center position, Zhang Shenyu. Moments later the group's name was revealed to be FEARLESS.
The next day their official SNS accounts were opened with the Logo Motion, a Group Picture, Individual greetings and an upcoming show for the girls titled Girls are FEARLESS.
In May 10, 2022, The first episode of Girls are FEARLESS was uploaded on their BiliBili channel & YouTube channel respectively with English Subtitles for the international fans. The show would be focused on girls aftermath from the show and their preparation for their debut album of the same name.
on July 17, 2022, the final episode for the first season of Girls are FEARLESS was uploaded with the reveal date of the group's debut, the group would be making their big debut with the mini album Girls are FEARLESS on August 15, 2022.
On January 1, 2023, the agency announced that FEARLESS would be coming back with their first full album "UNSTOPPABLE", The album would be released on February 12, 2023.
On August 4, 2023, the agency revealed that FEARLESS would be making their next comeback with their second mini album "Girls are UP"
On February 7, 2024, NEW WAVE Entertainment announced that FEARLESS would be releasing their first digital single "Middle" on February 29, 2024.
On September 20, 2024, FEARLESS dropped a surprise release "Come-Plete". Few days after, NEW WAVE Entertainment announced that Come-Plete would be serving as a pre-release for the group's upcoming mini "Girls are COMING". The mini is set for release on October 21, 2024.
On June 16, 2025, NEW WAVE announced that FEARLESS would be making a comeback with their second album DIAMONDS. The albums would be released on July 16, 2025.
