Eunwon (은원) is a South Korean singer under YR Entertainment.
He debuted as a soloist with his first mini album PARADISE GETAWAY on September 24, 2024.
History[]
Early life[]
Bae Eunwon was born on April 8, 2008, in Daejeon, South Korea. Growing up as the youngest of three siblings, Eunwon was known for his good looks and naturally sweet personality. From an early age, he was often complimented for his handsome features and bright smile, which made him stand out among his peers. His charming nature made him popular at school, where teachers and classmates alike took a liking to him.
Eunwon's popularity wasn’t just because of his looks. He was also known for being kind and considerate, always willing to help others. Whether it was volunteering for school events or simply being a good friend, Eunwon's positive energy attracted people to him.
In December 2022, while walking home from school, Eunwon was scouted by a representative from HIEX Creative. His striking visuals caught their attention immediately, and after a few meetings and auditions, Eunwon signed with the company as a trainee, officially beginning his journey toward a career in the industry.
Trainee life[]
Bae Eunwon’s trainee life at HIEX Creative was a challenging experience from the start. Like most K-pop trainees, his schedule was packed with vocal training, dance lessons, and language classes, all while balancing schoolwork. The rigorous routine of 12-hour training days was designed to push trainees to their limits, and it wasn’t long before Eunwon realized how tough it would be.
While many of his fellow trainees showed noticeable improvement in their singing and dancing, Eunwon struggled to keep up. Despite his charm and striking visuals, which could win over anyone, his natural talent in performing wasn’t as strong as others. His dance moves were often stiff, and his vocal training sessions didn’t yield the progress his trainers hoped for. Almost every month, he was rated as one of the lowest trainees in terms of skill.
The company staff grew frustrated with his slow progress, but no matter how hard they tried, they found it difficult to scold him. Eunwon’s innocent and sweet looks always softened their approach, and his genuine efforts, even when he didn’t meet expectations, made it hard for anyone to be truly upset with him. His trainers often mentioned that he had an undeniable charm, something that could make up for his lack of technical talent if he learned how to harness it.

Pre-Debut: HIEX Boys[]
On January 1, 2024, HIEX Creative revealed him to be a part of their new trainee group, HIEX Boys.
2024: PARADISE GETAWAY[]
On September 12, 2024, it was reported that he'd be making his debut as a soloist. On September 18, the scheduler for his first mini album PARADISE GETAWAY was released. On September 21, he released the song "Shivers" with Cho Sungho as a pre-release. He officially released his first mini album, PARADISE GETAWAY, on September 24 along with the title track "HOLIDAY."
2025-present: Transfer of Agencies, "sorry 4 being 2 cute"[]
On January 19, 2025, it was announced that after lengthy discussions about his future, HIEX Creative decided to transfer him to YR Entertainment, where he would continue his solo career.
On March 23, 2025, Eunwon released a surprise digital single titled "sorry 4 being 2 cute (귀여워서 미안해요)" to thank his fans for always supporting him. Though the song wasn't promoted on music shows, fans felt encouraged to stream and support the 16 year old soloist.
On May 18, 2025, Eunwon was announced to be a participant on CBC's survival program STAR RAIL.

Bae Eunwon attended Dunsan Elementary School in Daejeon, where his bright personality and charming looks made him popular among both students and teachers. He was involved in various school activities, though he wasn’t particularly known for excelling academically or athletically. After graduating, he went on to Hanbat Middle School, where he continued to be well-liked, largely due to his friendly nature and good looks.
When Eunwon was scouted by HIEX Creative in 2022, he transferred to Seoul Performing Arts High School (SOPA) to focus more on his training while continuing his education. Balancing school and the demanding trainee life was tough, but Eunwon worked hard to maintain his studies, even if his main focus was preparing for his debut.

On March 23, 2025, shortly after Eunwon released his first self-composed single, "sorry 4 being 2 cute", XOLAS' Bailey posted a now deleted-post on XOLAS' official Instagram account that read, "My baby Eunwon released a new song today, 'sorry 4 being 2 cute', and honestly its true, he is too cute, but thankfully all that cuteness is all mine hehe." While it lasted only a few moments before the post ended up being deleted, it was too late as fans worldwide took screenshots of the post. Neither YR Entertainment nor Blair Music have spoken out about the controversy.
Only 2 weeks after their initial scandal, Eunwon and Bailey were spotted together on what seemed to be a dinner date on April 3, 2025. Many fans argued that the two are just friends and that it makes no sense to jump to conclusions; however, many netizens were convinced they were indeed on a dinner date. Neither one of their companies has spoken out on the issue.
