Tae Eunchong (태은총) is a South Korean singer under Shingyu Studio. He is a member of the project group DREAMDASH and trainee group ANSHINGYU. He is also a former member of UNA1 and its' male unit UNA-B, project group ZERO'ONE and a former contestant on the survival shows DREAM TICKET and Road to ZERO.

Career[]

Early Life[]

Eunchong was born in Hanam, Gwangsan, Gwangju, South Korea, to a family of well-known dancers and songwriters. His mother, Lee Huija, is known to have choreographed dances done by groups such as Baby V.O.X, Fin.K.L, S.E.S, and T.T.Ma. His father, Tae Yoonkwang, is known to have written many songs, including Baby V.O.X's "YaYaYa", "Get Up", and "Why", all of which became popular songs.

His early life was rather normal, surprisingly. Eunchong was getting usually good grades, getting a good amount of friends, and becoming decently popular in his school.

At age 14, MYMIND, an agency, had scouted him due to seeing a star inside him. waiting to be used. He trained for 5 years.

2022-2023: UNA1, ZERO'ONE, leaving UNA1[]

Sometime in late December, from a leaked list of members, it was revealed he would be debuting in UNA1. Later, in January, he was confirmed as a contestant on Road to ZERO. He placed 4th overall, allowing him to debut in the group ZERO'ONE. Unfortunately, the group disbanded 2 months later due to management issues.

On October 19, Eunchong and Taeseo announced that they have left the group due to worsening anxiety and depression, as well as not wanting to pursue an idol career.

2024-present: ANSHINGYU, DREAM TICKET, DREAMDASH[]

Sometime in 2024, he was reportedly seen in a building specifically established for ANSHINGYU trainees, confirming his addition to the trainee group.

On April 19, 2024, he was announced as a contestant on the reality survival show DREAM TICKET.

On September 10, it was reported that DREAM TICKET would form a second group consisting of contestants from the show who had failed to debut. 2 days later, he was revealed as the second member of DREAMDASH.

He loves dancing.
He is described to have a "husky-like" voice, and suits very well in ballads.
His favorite kind of music is mostly trot and ballad.
He wishes to become a professor at Somteul someday.
He loves winter, and hates the spring.
He has a sister, Taeseo.
His favorite song is "Polaroid" by famous trot singer Lim Young Woong.
