Elvira Jiarui Ilyinichna Kovalyova (Russian: Эльвира Цзяруй Ильинична Ковалёва; born January 8, 2005) known mononymously as Elvira, is a Russian-Chinese trainee. Born and raised in Norilsk, a part of Siberia in Russia and a part of the Arctic Circle, Elvira moved to South Korea in January of 2025 to successfully audition for LoveRail Entertainment.
On June 10, 2025, Elvira was revealed as a member of Today's Girl in the brand film "Today's Together".
Early Life[]
2005-2025: Pre-debut[]
Elvira Jiarui Ilyinichna Kovalyova was born on January 8, 2005 in Norilsk, Siberia, Russia. Despite being ethnically from the European part of Russia by blood, she grew up in Siberia while lots of her family live around Murmansk, St. Petersburg and Moscow. As a child, she sang in a children's choir, famous for "singing in Christmas" each Christmas Eve. She left the group when she was 14 due to her age. In late February of 2025, Elvira was scouted online by a scout from LoveRail Entertainment. She passed the first auditions and later travelled to South Korea, where she successfully auditioned for the company and joined it afterwards.
2025-present: Debuting in Today's Girl
On June 10, 2025, Elvira was revealed as a member of Today's Girl in the brand film "Today's Together".
