EXTRACT (엑스트랙트) is an 5-Members South Korean Boy Group currently under LONE Media. formed by MyWorld Entertainment as 7 members, they debuted on December 17, 2021 with their first mini album extract.exe.
History[]
Pre-Debut:[]
On January 1, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment announced that they're going to debut MyWorld Boys sometime in 2021 under the freshly new name EXTRACT.
The same date, they revealed the first member of the group to be Kang Jae Yun, whom participated on UNIVERSE9 and ended up in the first place, making him the center of the group UNITE.
On January 3, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment revealed that the member revealing time would be coming gradually & by time, since the company and the members agreed that the debut should not be hurried. The same time they revealed the second member of the group Minsu.
On January 5, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment revealed the third member of the group going by the name Seungho.
On January 7, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment revealed the fourth member of the group going by the name Janghyun.
On January 9, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment revealed the fifth member of the group going by the name Dini.
On January 15, 2021. MyWorld Entertainment revealed the two last members Yooseung and Jin. Stating that the lineup is with 7 members. They also stated that the promotions of the group would be starting soon on their YouTube channel before their official announcement of the debut.
On March 29, 2021, MyWorld Entertainment announced the first teaser for a Pre-Debut song that would be released on April 24, 2021. The song would be going by the title "Save Me".

on November 3, 2021, MyWorld Entertainment announced that the boys would be debuting on December 17, 2021 with their first mini album "Extract.exe".
2022-Present: Moved labels, Seungho's, Dini's, Minsu's and Yooseung's departures. Joel's addition. New Start[]
on January 30, 2022, MyWorld Entertainment announced that NEONLIGHT and EXTRACT would be moved to a subsidiary going by the name WMW Labels (With My World Labels).
On November 24, 2022, WMW Labels announced the departures of Seungho and Dini due to personal reasonings. WMW Labels also revealed that the company is in discussions regarding the group's future.
On January 2, 2023, WMW Labels announced the departure of Minsu. However they didn't state anything about the group aside from Minsu's departure.
On January 22, 2023, Yooseung opened his personal instagram and revealed that he has signed with a new label, however there was no hint towards what happened to extract, as the account was still actively posting.
On February 20, 2023, EXTRACT official twitter account introduced a new member Joel. Later that same day the agency confirmed that EXTRACT has not disbanded but would be continuing promotions as 4 members in the future. In the same article they mentioned that they're giving EXTRACT a fresh look like a re-debut for the boys scheduled for release this summer.
On September 22, 2023, LONE Media revealed that they've acquired the rights for EXTRACT's name, the members and that they would continue their promotions really soon with the addition of the 5th member Junhyeong. The agency revealed that they aim to release a mini album around the 1st quarter of 2024.
On January 22, 2023, LONE Media announced that EXTRACT would be making their awaited comeback on February 14, 2024, with their second mini album "The Roots". The mini was produced by TOMB HOUSE mainly and IOE Producing.
