EMERGE (알려지다: Allyeojida, 出現する: Shutsugen suru) is a 9 member South Korean boy group under Blair Music. They debuted on July 14, 2015 with their first mini album Act I: Garnet.
They are known as one of the biggest boy bands in k-pop, selling over 30 million copies across both Korean, Japan, and in the West as well.

Early Beginnings[]
The first members of EMERGE initially all joined Blair Entertainment from 2010 (Eunjin and Helio) 2011 (Sette), 2012 (Heejin, T.K, Eden, and Skylar), and 2013 (Jaeseop and Yuho) and were part of the companies at-that-point not revealed Blair Boys program. Around that time several other trainees also joined in various line-ups for potential spots for the debut group. The first two company trainees that joined the group were Eunjin and Helio were the companies first two trainees, with Eunjin initially training to become a soloist before those plans were dropped and he began training to become an idol group member. While Helio was a summer/winter trainee living overseas but was training for the group as the first member in its planning phases.
- Several members of the group had a few pre-debut activities or were somewhat known in the Entertainment world such as:
- Sette was an active underground kid rapper under the stage name ‘SENSE’.
- Helio was an active child/teen actor going by his Korean name ‘Park Eunwoo’ and had starred in hit dramas such as: ‘Playback’ and ‘Azure Sky’.
- T.K was a known YG Entertainment trainee, as well as having been known in the dance world for winning several national dance titles during his youth.
The group was then finalized in January of 2015 and with all nine members and began recording their debut album.
Due to Blair Entertainment at the time was a small company, with only 20 active staff (the CEO, 3 managers, 2 choreographers, 4 bodyguards, and remaining amount consisted of lyricists and producers) as such due to this, all nine members were given other various jobs with all of them learning how to write and compose songs, to even choreographing their dancers to ease the burden their staff had during their debut time.
2015: Debut with ‘Act I: Garnet’, and comeback with ‘Super Boy’[]

Act I: Garnet
On January 2, Blair Entertainment announced that they would be debuting their first boy group in the summer of this year. The teasers for each member would be released two weeks from each other.

On April 29, the company began revealing teasers for the members, with the confirmation that the first member would be revealed on May 4.
On May 4, Eunjin was revealed as the first member of the group.
On May 11, Eden was revealed as the second member of the group.
On May 18, Yuho was revealed as the third member of the group.
On May 25, Heejin was revealed as the fourth member of the group.
On June 1, Jaeseop was revealed as the fifth member of the group.
On June 8, T.K was revealed as the sixth member of the group.
On June 15, Sette was revealed as the seventh member of the group.
On June 22, Helio was revealed as the eighth member of the group.
On June 29, Skylar was revealed as the ninth and last member of the group.
On July 14, the group released their debut mini album Act I: Garnet with the leading track being Just Clap. The album was met with a small amount of success selling 40,000 copies during its initial promotional run at the time.
While ‘Act I: Garnet’ was met with minimal success, it was not successful overall during their debut season, with critiques stating that the album while hard hitting with decent overall sounds and accompanying instrumentals to it, was just ‘one decent album in a sea of good music’.
On October 18, it was announced that the group would be releasing one of the songs from their mini album as a stand-alone digital single on November 2, with the song in question being Super Boy.
On November 2, the group released their digital single ‘Super Boy’. It was again met with similar success as their debut album selling around 60,000 digital copies during its promotional run.
During the end of year award season, the group won their very first award from Seoul Music Performance Awards in the category ‘Male Special Mention’.
2016: Comebacks with ‘Act II: Opal’, ‘Act III: Pearl’, ‘Major I: Diamond’, First Overseas Concerts and Increasing Popularity[]

Act II: Opal
On January 16, Blair Entertainment announced that the group would be making their first official comeback in February of next month. Teasers for the members and the album were teased each day from January 20 to January 31, with the final teaser being released on February 7.
On February 8, the group’s second mini album Act II: Opal was released with the leading track being FLY NOW. The album was met with similar sales numbers from the group’s previous album, this time selling around 65,000 copies during its initial promotional run.
On March 26, the group had their first ever overseas concert, being part of the ‘KCON United Arab Emirates’ line up.
On April 30, it was announced that the group would be making a comeback in May with a repackaged album. Teasers for the members and the album were teased each day from May 5 to May 18, with the final teaser being released on May 22.

Act III: Pearl
On May 23, the group released their first repackaged album Act III: Pearl, the album’s leading track being Naengdong Isang. The album being a repackage of the previous album ‘Act II: Opal’, as such had tracks from that album while also new song tracks as well. The album was well received by fans and critiques alike, selling around 70,000 copies overall during its promotional run.
While the album was seen as much more successful compared to the group’s previous titles, it once again failed to hold onto fans’ long-lasting attention as the album was seen as a ‘safe bet’ by fans and critics after a while.
On June 2, the group were part of the ‘KCON Paris’ line up, making this their second time they appeared with the concert organizers.
On June 25, the group were part of the ‘KCON New Jersey’ line up, making this their first ever performance in the west.
On July 11, the group revealed their fan name ‘Crystalines’ with the group’s leader Eunjin explaining the names origin:

On July 30, the day before the group’s ‘KCON LA’ appearance during the groups live, they revealed their fan colors: ‘Fairy Green’ and ‘Burgundy’.
On July 31, the group were part of the ‘KCON LA’ line up, making this their fourth time appearing with the concert organizers.
During this time, the group was slowly gaining more momentum and fans due to their appearances at KCON, with them slowly getting more and more fans with each performance. Non-fans started paying more attention to the group due to their consistent performances as well as their energy during the concerts and interaction with the audience gaining them a small following as one of the ‘must see’ at KCON due to it.
On October 20, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback in November with their first full studio album. Teasers for the album and the members were released from October 22 to November 10, with the final teaser being released on November 13.

Major I: Diamond
On November 14, the group released their first studio album Major I: Diamond with the album’s leading track being TIDAL WAVE. The album was met with great success, selling around 160,000 copies in its initial run, selling 90,000 extra copies compared to the group’s previous album that was released earlier in the year. With this album the group was nominated several times for a first-place music show award but had sadly not been able to achieve a music show win.
On November 30, the group announced their first ever tour, EMERGE IN ASIA 2017 Tour -Red Beryl- with the concert taking place in Asia, and running from March 18, 2017, to June 3, 2017. Tickets for the concert are available starting from December 10.
During the end of the year award season, the group was nominated for several awards from major award groups, winning their first ‘Rookie of the Year’, as well as Seoul Music Performance Awards award for ‘Best Male Group Dance Performance’ with ‘FLY NOW’.
2017: Comebacks with ‘Act IV: Red Beryl’, ‘Act V: Lapis Lazuli’, First Music Show Win, First Tour, and Expanding Popularity[]
On February 15, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback next month in March. Teasers for the album and the members were released from February 20 to March 1, with the final teaser being released on March 5.

Act IV: Red Beryl
On March 6, the group released their third mini album Act IV: Red Beryl with the album’s leading track being Byeoli Bichnanda. The album continued off from the group’s previous album last year in terms of success selling around 240,000 copies during its promotional run continuing the group’s increasing popularity as well. The group once again was nominated for several music show wins but like the previous album was sadly not album to achieve a win for the group.
From March 18 to June 3, the group was on their first ever tour with EMERGE IN ASIA 2017 Tour -Red Beryl-. The concert started off in Seoul at ‘Lotte Concert Hall to an audience of over 4,000 people attending the first concert. The tour ended on June 3, in Seoul, South Korea at the ‘National Theatre of Korea’, with a total of 1,500 people attending the last concert date.
The group primarily toured in South Korea and Japan but had also gone to the Philippines and China as well for the tour slowly making their mark in Asia as well. The tour was seen with some success selling around 42,100 tickets overall, averaging a total of over $2,105,000 USD in ticket sales alone.
Fans who had seen and recorded the concert alike had stated that the concert was one of the better ones that year due to the groups setlist stating that the performance, care, and attention the group and concert organizers had for it stating that the group are some of the better live performers being noted as having rarely used lip-synched tracks during the run of the tour. Again, bringing more attention to the group both on the western side and eastern side of K-pop fans due to these statements.
On May 26, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback next month with another mini album. Teasers for the album and the members were released from May 28 to June 9, with the final teaser being released on June 16.

Act V: Lapis Lazuli
On June 17, the group released their fourth mini album Act V: Lapis Lazuli with the album’s leading track being Grieving Heaven. The album continued off the group’s growing momentum from their previous albums, selling around 470,000 copies of the album in its initial run. With ‘Grieving Heaven’ the group their very first music show wins, giving the group a total of 4 wins.
‘Grieving Heaven’ was seen as a commercial success for the group, with the song trending for several days after its release, with fans and critics alike stating that the group’s change of sound while with the track was perfectly done. As well as stating that the dance, while difficult had several moments in the song in which fans were able to move alone to it further continuing its positive reception from fans and the public. The public also started to pay more attention to the group with them also going back and listening to the groups previous tracks and streaming several of the songs with them stating that for a group that is self-produced like EMERGE they can capture their overarching concept and sound perfectly even with the change in tons with ‘Act V: Lapis Lazuli’.
Following the success of the album, EMERGE started to gain more traction as a group and individuals, with them slowly getting more CF deals, sponsorships and being asked to attend several college festivals during the summer due to their new public relevancy.
On June 25, the group were part of the ‘KCON New Jersey’ line up, making this their fifth concert with the organization.
On August 19, the group were part of the ‘KCON LA’ line up, making this their sixth concert with the organization.
On August 27, it was announced that the group would be releasing a track from their ‘Act V: Lapis Lazuli’ album as a solo digital track as a thank you to their fans, with an accompanying Music Video to go with it. The members stated that the song was a thank you to their fans and stated that they would not be promoting it for any music show performances.
On September 10, the group released Spotlight on digital streaming platforms. The song was well received selling around 100,000 digital copies at the time of release.
On September 23, the group were part of the ‘KCON Sydney’ line up, making this their seventh concert with the organization.
On December 18, the group announced that they would be having their second Asian tour titled EMERGE IN ASIA 2018 Tour -Aquamarine-. The tour would run from February 17 to May 27 of 2018. Sales for the tickets were opened on December 28.
During the end of year award season, the group was able to win several nominations, and as well along with that were able to get their first Bongsang with ‘Major I: Diamond’.
2018: Comebacks with ‘Act VI: Aquamarine’, ‘Major II: Sapphire’, Japanese Debut, and Continuing Popularity[]
On January 2, it was announced that following the group’s successful year prior, that they would be making a comeback at the end of the month. Teasers for the album and the members were released from January 4 to January 19, with the final teaser being released on January 21.

Act VI: Aquamarine
On January 22, the group released their second repackaged album Act VI: Aquamarine with the albums leading track being SEA. The album being a repackaged album contained several tracks from ‘Act V: Lapis Lazuli’ like hit song ‘Grieving Heaven’ further increasing the albums popularity as well as feeding off the success of prior year, the album was able to sell over 400,000 copies during its initial run. ‘Sea’ was able to get 5 music show wins during its promotional run as well.
On February 1, it was announced that the group has signed a distributorship agreement with Sony Music Japan, and as such, all the group’s albums from here on out are handled in Japan would be through them. As well as confirming that the group would be having their Japanese debut set for April of this year.
From February 17 to May 27, the group was on their second Asian tour EMERGE IN ASIA 2018 Tour -Aquamarine-. The concert started off in Seoul, South Korea at the ‘Olympic Hall’ to an audience of over 10,000 people attending the first concert. The tour ended on May 27, in Seoul, South Korea at the ‘SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium’ to an audience of over 9,000 people seeing the final concert date.
While the tour was mostly in South Korea and Japan, the group also performed in Malaysia, Singapore, Jakarta, and Thailand as well during the run of this tour, once more making their appearance in Asia once more. The tour was seen with much more success compared to their first Asian tour, selling around 187,600 tickets overall, averaging a total of over $9,380,000 USD in ticket sales alone.
On April 24, during the middle of the groups Asian tour, the group released their first Japanese single Grieving Heaven (Japanese Version). The single sold a total of 58,018 copies during its promotional run and was able to rank at 3rd place on the Oricon charts. EMERGE became one of the few non-Japanese idol groups that was able to achieve a ranking in the top 5 of the Oricon charts on their debut.
On April 30, the group announced their first ever anniversary concert EMERGE 3rd Anniversary Concert, the concert paying homage to the group and to celebrate the group’s three years of activity. Ticket sales for the concert were opened on May 8.
On June 23, the group were part of the ‘KCON New Jersey’ line up, making this their eighth time appearing for the concert organization. Due to the groups’ increasingly busy schedules, this was the group’s last KCON that they attended as a performing act and have not appeared at KCON since.
On July 15, the group held their solo concert EMERGE 3rd Anniversary Concert, the concert was held in Seoul, South Korea, at ‘Gocheok Sky Dome’, to an audience of 25,000 people attending the concert. The concert was met with positive success with fans and non-fans alike stating that the group had prepared diligently for the concert and their stages had proven as such.
On August 17, it was announced that the group would be coming back with their second full album studio album. Teasers for the album and the members were released from August 20 to September 3, with the final teaser being released on September 9.

Major II: Sapphire
On September 10, the group released their second studio album Major II: Sapphire with the leading track being PROMISE. The album was able to sell over 560,000 copies during its initial run and was able to grab the group 8 music show wins, the most that the group has gotten during an entire promotional run to date that that time.
The album was seen as a commercial success across all platforms with fans and critics alike stating that the album continued off the growing success of the group as well as the group slowly solidifying their place as an upcoming top boy group. To top it off along with that, ‘PROMISE’ was seen as a digital monster during its time in the charts, being the groups first ever song to achieve the groups first all-kill of placing number 1 across all the Korean digital streaming platforms.
On October 29, the group released their second Japanese single Just Clap (Japanese Version / EGAO BIRD, which was also their first double a-side single, as well as the groups first ever original Japanese song ‘EGAO BIRD’ as being part of the main a-side titles. The single sold a total of 44,185 copies and ranked at 4th place on the Oricon charts during its promotional run.
During end of year award season, the group was once again nominated for several awards and managed to win several of them, this time around they had been nominated for several American award shows for their awards, thus marking the first time of the West’s interest in the boy group.
Some of the groups notable awards include: Seoul Music Performance Awards award for ‘Best Male Group Vocal Performance’ and ‘Album of the Year’. As well as a Golden Disk Bongsang award for ‘Lapis Lazuli’.
While the group had seen great success from their album, the members have revealed that during those times it was a point of difficulty for them, due to past albums not performing as well, as well as the increasing debt they had with each comeback, they even revealed that they were planning on disbanding due to these issues. With the group’s leader Eunjin even saying:

We had all decided that after 2018 if we still didn’t grow financially we’d disband but thankfully we’re still here to this day and are continuing to perform for our Crystalines and for the world”. |

With the group’s continued success during 2018, the members of EMERGE all stated that they would continue as a group and had since squashed any talks of any disbandment stating that they would be 9 or none no matter what.
2019: ‘Act VII: Jade’, ‘Act VIII: Fire Opal’, World Tour, and International Recognition[]
On January 2, it was announced that the group would be having their first ever official world tour from April 13 to August 4, under the titular title EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2019 -SHOWROOM-. This was the group’s first ever world tour with the tour having stops in the west, in Asia, and in Europe as well.
On January 14, it was announced that the group would be coming back with their third repackaged album in February. The teasers for the album were released from January 18 to February 2, with the final teaser being released on February 13.

Act VII: Jade
On February 14, the group came back with their third repackaged album Act VII: Jade with the leading track being INSPARATION. The album again was seen as a commercial success like the group’s previous albums. Being a repackage album, it contained several songs from ‘Major II: Sapphire’ in the album track list. The album sold a total of 520,000 copies during its promotional run and was able to get the group 4 music show wins during its run.
On March 4, the group released their third Japanese single Don’t Look Away, the group’s first ever sole original a-side track that was not attached to a remake of a previous Korean release as well. The single sold a total of 68,274 copies. It ranked at 1st place on the weekly Oricon charts, making it the groups first ever number 1 charting in Japan.
From April 13 to August 4, the group held their first world tour EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2019 -SHOWROOM-. The tour started off in Seoul, South Korea at ‘Gocheok Sky Dome’ for 3 days straight to a total audience of 75,000 people attending all three days as the kickoff part of the tour. The tour ended on August 4, during a two-day concert once again in Seoul, South Korea at ‘Olympic Gymnastics Arena’ to an audience of 30,000 people across those two days.
The tour was seen was much success, being cited as one of the bets tours to attend in 2019 alone, from the high energy, the set list, and the locations that the group went to, the group managed to sell 687,200 tickets alone, amounting to a total of $68,720,000 USD in ticket sales alone.
The tour had four legs of the tour, with leg one being in South Korea, Japan, and the Philippines, leg 2 being in the west, with it holding concerts in Canada, and the United States, leg 3 was held in Europe, with the tour taking place in France, Germany, and England, and leg 4 the finale of the tour taking place once more in Asia, but in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.
On May 23, it was announced that the group would be having another solo concert in July, the concert being titled EMERGE 4th Anniversary Concert it would be held in honor of the group reaching four years of activity and would be held on July 15, 2019. Tickets for the concert were on sale on May 30.
On July 15, the group held their fourth anniversary concert EMERGE 4th Anniversary Concert in Seoul, South Korea, at ‘Gocheok Sky Dome’ to an audience of over 25,000 audience.
On July 16, two days after the groups fourth anniversary, it was announced that the group has paid off all their trainee debt, a feat which was celebrated from fans and non-fans alike, so much so that it had ended up trending on Twitter under the hashtag #GETTHEMONEYEMERGE.
On July 26, it was announced that the group would be coming back with their fifth mini album in August. Teasers for the album and the members were released from August 1 to August 20, with the final teaser being released on August 26.

Act VIII: Fire Opal
On August 27, the group released their fifth mini album Act VIII: Fire Opal with the leading track being Sketchbook. The album was again seen as a success overall with the album selling over 480,000 copies during its initial promotional run. ‘Sketchbook’ was able to get the group 4 more music show wins during its promotional run.
After the promotions for ‘Act VIII: Fire Opal’ had ended, the members of the group were all over Korea due to their newfound popularity, from appearing in radio shows, commercials to even variety shows as well. This had even expanded into their ventures in the Japanese market where several of the members were part of morning interview shows in Japan as well as their consistent magazine appearances in Japan as well once more slowly increasing their fanbase in Asia once more.
On September 2, the group released their fourth Japanese single Koi no Animal / INSPARATION (Japanese Version). The single was a hit in Japan, selling 158,094 copies in its run. The single was able to rank at 1st place on the Oricon charts making it their second number 1. During the promotions of the single, it was announced that the group’s single was certified gold under RIAJ regulations confirming that the single has sold over 100,000 copies, making it the first of the groups Japanese singles to do so.
On October 22, it was announced that Blair Entertainment would be building a new company building after acquiring building permits that have been in the talks since 2018, and due to the recent successful year that not only Blair Entertainment had but also the successful year that EMERGE had, the funding and area leasing was approved. EMERGE had been renting out a 2-floor recording building since their debut back in 2015 until now and had not been using the building that Blair Entertainment had been renting. With the reveal of the new building, it was also revealed that EMERGE would be having their own personal floor for the members to themselves in the new building where they can use as their own personal recording and composing floor without having to rent as well. Preparation for the building and zoning began in December of 2019, with the planned building expected to be finished in 2022.
On December 11, the group released their fifth Japanese single BE WITH YOU. The single again, while not selling as much as the previous single was another success for the group, selling around 128,487 copies overall. The single was able to rank at 1st place on the Oricon charts making it their second number 1. During the promotions of the single, it was announced that the group’s single was certified gold under RIAJ regulations confirming that the single has sold over 100,000 copies, making it the first of the groups Japanese singles to do so.
On December 19, the group announced that they would be having their second world tour EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2020 -TO SHINE MORE-. The tour was scheduled to run from May 17 to November 29. The tickets for the tour were on sale on December 30.
On December 27, the group released their first Japanese studio album Crystals and Love, the studio album contained all the a-sides from the group first Japanese single to their fifth Japanese single. The album was met with decent success, with the album selling 59,285 copies overall. The album was able to rank at 2nd place on the Oricon album charts.
During the end of year award season, the group was once more nominated for several major awards, being able to win their ever Daesung award at the Asia Artist Awards. Other notable awards include: Seoul Music Performance Awards award for ‘Best Male Group Dance Performance’, and their first ever western award for ‘Tour of the Year’ from the American Music Awards.
2020: ‘Act IX: Obsidian’, ‘Major III: Emerald’, Cancelled Tour, Online Concerts and signing to an American label[]
2020 started off well for the group, so much so that due to the group’s increasing popularity, the members were all able move out of their dorm and move into their own separate apartments. With most of them having left the dorms since the summer of 2019.
As the year continued, COVID’19 began to take president over lots of events, causing most of EMERGE’s appearances in Korea and live events to begin to slowly get pushed back or cancelled all together. Fans of the group began voicing concern over the groups upcoming world tour to which Blair Entertainment released a statement with the following:

On March 31, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback with their sixth mini album at the end of next month. Teasers for the album and the members were revealed from April 4 to April 19, with the final teaser being released on April 26.
On April 5, during the middle of the teasers for the groups upcoming album, Blair Entertainment announced that due to growing concerns regarding the pandemic, that the group would be putting a hiatus on the world tour that they were scheduled to begin in May. Fans who had purchased tickets for the released concert dates were given two options regarding this. One where they could refund the tickets that they had or the second option in which they can hold onto their tickets in hopes that the concert would take place later in the year.

Act IX: Obsidian
On April 27, the group released their sixth mini album Act IX: Obsidian with the leading track being Mythic. The album was met with great success selling over 740,000 copies overall during the promotional run of the album. The album was able to grab the group 2 music show wins during its run, the lowest amount of wins the group has gotten ever in terms of music show wins since the group has been formed.
Despite this being the groups best selling release at that point in time, the promotions for the album were stunted due to growing COVID’19 concerns, along with that, having released the album during the peak of the pandemic, and as such, the group couldn’t properly promote the album. The group where they normally promote the album for 4 weeks across all music platforms had instead slashed the promotional run for the album to be just under 2 weeks regarding safety for EMERGE and their staff that are with them.
On May 17, on the day of when the groups world tour was supposed to happen, the group had released a video talking about their current plans for the group for 2020 and how they wish to still connect with their fans, and revealed their plans for several online concerts that they are planning to do. With the first free online concert taking place on May 31. Leader Eunjin also stated in the video this:

The members of EMERGE also revealed that when they started planning this online concert back in April, that the members themselves began forming the first version of this concert without Blair Entertainment’s knowledge and had been funding it themselves without any funding from the company. From finding a private location, to purchasing the props needed to even recording and practicing this had all been done during the middle of their promotions for ‘Act IX: Obsidian’ as well.
Once the group’s final plans for the concert was done was when all nine of the members had addressed their plan for the concerts, to which the company had greenlit and began helping the group in further ideas of future online concerts for the group as well.
On May 31, the group held their first online concert EMERGE 2020 ONLINE CONCERT -Wonderful Love-. Due to the nature of the concert the performance was released online and to ensure proper COVID’19 precautions, only EMERGE and select staff were only present at the concert’s private venue to enforce COVID’19 precautions.
The online concert was seen as a great success overall, with the views of the concert reaching up to 50 million within the following weeks. Fans and critics stating that the concert was a wonderful gift for fans during the pandemic as well as the members sending their thanks to their fans, with the venue being scattered with fan memorabilia and the members interacting with the props while singing, increasing the romantic mood of the empty venue.
On June 14, exactly 1 month before the group’s five-year anniversary, the online concert plans for the anniversary were posted. To celebrate the group’s achievement of reaching five years, the company has asked for fans to select and send their favorite songs from all the groups album for a chance for their favorite song to be performed during the concert. Along with that, instead of the group having only one concert, the anniversary would be sectioned off into a part 1 and a part 1 to ensure that all the fans’ favorite songs have a chance to make it into either of the setlists.
The voting for the concert setlists opened on June 16, and officially closed on June 21, with it being announced that a total of 980,000 votes were cast from fans for a chance to get their favorite song onto the set list.
The reception of this voting system caught the attention of fans and casual listeners alike, with several hashtags trending on twitter during the voting period, some examples being: #EMERGESONGREQUEST and #EMERGE5THANNI respectfully.
On July 14, the first part of the group’s fifth anniversary concert was released under the YouTube video series as EMERGE 5th Anniversary Online Concert Part 1 -Crystaline Song Request-. The online concert was met with positive reception with a total view count of 70 million watching it within the following weeks.
On July 15, the second part of the group’s fifth anniversary concert was released under the YouTube video series as EMERGE 5th Anniversary Online Concert Part 2 -Crystaline Song Request-. Similarly, to part 1, the online concert was met with positive reception with a total view count of 70 million watching it within the following weeks.
The two-part concert was well received from views and first-time watchers alike, stating that the concept of the concert was well thought out and that the group had perfectly executed the concert wonderfully further increasing the publics view and favor of the group even more.
On August 10, the group released their sixth Japanese single Solitary, the single was a hit in Japan, selling over 204,167 copies in its promotional run in the country. It ranked at 1s t place on the Oricon single charts, making it the groups second number 1 on the Oricon charts in Japan alone. During the promotions for the single, it was certified gold in recognition of RIAJ charting systems making it the third single of theirs to achieve this feat for selling over 100,000 physical copies.
On September 2, it was announced that EMERGE had signed a recording deal with western label Universal Music Group along with confirming that the group would be having their western debut in January of next year.
On September 4, it was announced that the group would be releasing another digital single, teasers for the single and the members was released from September 6 to September 15, with the final teaser being released on September 17.
On September 18, the group released their digital single Fire Fly, the single performed well on music digital charts, selling more then 500,000 digital copies, and earing the group 1 music show win during its promotional period.
On October 27, it was announced that the group would be making a comeback with their third full studio album in December. Teasers for the album were released from November 18 to December 2, with the final teaser being released on December 11.
On November 30, it was announced that the group would be having another online concert in December, this time it would be a mixture of the songs from the albums that were released this year.

Major III: Emerald
On December 12, the group released their third full studio album Major III: Emerald with the leading song being Expression. ‘Expression was an instant hit in Korea on release, with the song achieving a perfect all-kill ranking 1st in all the Korean music streaming charts that same day. The sales for the album were very successful, selling over 960,000 during its initial run, at some point during the promotions for it, it was announced that the group was awarded their first million seller title with the album, signifying the sales for the album surpassed 1,000,000 copies. To go with that, ‘Expression’ won the group 5 music show wins during its promotions.
On December 17, the group’s winter concert was released under the YouTube series as EMERGE IN WINTER -Cozy with Love- Online Concert. The viewership for this concert was well received, earning more then 60 million views within the following days after the videos were posted.
During the end of year award season for awards, once more was the group nominated for several awards, winning several notable nominations some including several Bonsang’s as well as being nominated for several Daesang’s.
2021: ‘Melted’, ‘Act X: Jasper’, ‘Act XI: Tanzanite’, Contract Renewals[]
From January 2 to January 14, teasers for the groups English single were released, on January 17, the final teaser was released.

Melted
On January 18, the group released their first full English single Melted, the single was met with overwhelmingly positive response, ranking in Billboard’s top 100 at 4th place upon debut. The single sold over 770,000 copies and was later certified as a million seller, signifying it has sold over 1,000,000 copies overall. ‘Melted’ was promoted as well in South Korea, during which it won the group 5 music show wins during its promotions.
Due to the group’s success with their English single, the group was prevalent all over the world, appearing in talk shows across the world, further increasing their stance as an emerging top boy group across the world.
On March 5, it was announced that all nine members have resigned their contract with the company for an extra 3 years in the group. The contract not having been due until next year, the members had been reported to have gone into the contract negotiations with positive intentions, and after discussing their new contract the company and the group achieved a middle ground. After the negotiations have been made, it was also announced that Blair Entertainment and its officials had also given each EMERGE member $6,500,000 USD (a total of $58,500,000 USD for all nine members) as an additional thank you to the members for resigning as well as an insurance policy incase they feel like the company is not providing them their best intentions.
On March 26, the group announced that they would be holding their first in-person live concert, their first once since 2019, for the group’s upcoming sixth anniversary. Tickets for the concert went on sale on March 31.
On April 9, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback with their seventh mini album in May. Teasers for the album and the members were released from April 13 to April 24, with the final teaser being released on May 1.

Act X: Jasper
On May 2, the group released their seventh mini album Act X: Jasper with the leading song being After Party. The album was met with great success, making the group their first million seller record prior to release, signifying that the group had sold over 1,000,000 copies before its official release. Within the following weeks, the group earned a second certificate to signify that the album has sold another additional 1,000,000 copies bringing the sales count to over 2,000,000 copies sold during its initial promotional run. ‘After Party’ became the groups most awarded song with it winning a total of 11 music show awards during its promotions.
The album was a global hit upon its release, once more achieving the groups third all-kill on Korean streaming sites. The album was met with massive success, continuing from the group’s growing popularity that they had achieved from ‘Melted’ and from promotions the year prior. Critics stated that the sound was a nice change for the group slowly bringing in a newer youthful sound that is often heard in their B-side tracks to the forefront and that the sound change was expertly done.
On May 26, it was announced that the group would be hosting another stand-a-lone concert in August. The tickets for the concert went on sale on May 31. This would be the group’s second live concert for 2021.
On July 20, the group held their sixth anniversary concert EMERGE 6th Anniversary Concert, it was held in Daegu, South Korea, at the ‘Daegu Stadium’ their first time performing as a solo act in one of Korea’s biggest domes, to an audience of over 66,000 people who came to the concert. Regarding COVID’19 regulations and precautions, methods and other safety protocols were issued and enforced to ensure the safety of EMERGE and the concert-goers.
On August 9, the group held their summer concert EMERGE IN SUMMER -The Concert After The Party-, the concert was held in Seoul, South Korea at the ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’, through them holding this first solo stand-a-lone concert there, they became one of the few K-pop acts to perform them solo. To go along with this feat, the concert was also available to be watched online and in movie theatre venues across the world. A total of 67,000 people attended the concert, while a total of over 800,000 bought tickets to see the concert viewing in several select movie theatre viewings across the world.
The concert was well received once more with it being viewed as one of the best concerts to have attended live in person that year or to have bought a ticket to see it when it aired, due to the concerts production value, and the preparations that Blair Entertainment and EMERGE had put into making the concert go off well.
On August 16, the group released their seventh Japanese single After Party (Japanese Version) / ONE WISH, the single was another hit amongst their Japanese fanbase, with the single selling 486,284 copies during its promotional run and earning them their third number 1 on the weekly Oricon charts.. The single was later certified Platinum under RIAJ regulations signifying that the single sold more than 250,000 physical copies.
On August 18, following the group’s successful solo concerts, the group’s next solo concert was announced to be held on November 30. Sales for the concert went on sale on August 21, as well as announcing the group’s plans for their next world tour would be announced the following month with more information regarding the world tour to be announced during September as well.
On September 5, the group formally announced their dates for the group’s second world tour EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2022 -HOT DESTINATION-, with sales opening for the concert on September 13. Tickets for the tour sold out within 2 minutes and the demand for more dates was expressed, so much so that Blair Entertainment and the concert venues added extra dates for several hot spot locations.
On September 25, it was announced that Blair Entertainment and Disney had signed a releasing deal with each other, the plans including releasing future content related to the company and the group on the company ‘Disney Plus’ website. The group is currently in talks of releasing two documentaries sometime in 2022.
On October 14, the group announced that they would be having their next comeback with their eighth mini album. Teasers for the album and the members were released from October 18 to November 2, with the final teaser being released on November 13.
The second round of tickets were opened for sale on October 15, 2021, with the tickets selling out within 2 minutes. Both Blair Entertainment having seen the positive reception for the tour, posted that they will be hosting a 'second' version of the concert later in the year 2022, with more details regarding it will be revealed later.
Due to the high demand and uptick in fans, a second "encore" of the tour was announced to be held later in the year at several select cities that had the most interest in holding another series of concerts.

Act XI: Tanzanite
On November 15, the group released their eighth mini album Act XI: Tanzanite with the leading song being Yours. The album following the success of ‘Act X: Jasper’ was also an instant hit for the group, further solidifying the group’s status as a top boy group. The album sold over 2,000,000 copies during its promotional run, earning the group their fourth ever million certificate, they also earned a second one during this signifying the album selling over 2,000,000 copies as well. ‘Yours’ was able to grab the group 8 music show wins by the end of its promotional run.
On November 30, the group held their fall concert EMERGE 2021 Autumn Concert -The Last Gem-. The concert was held in Seoul, South Korea, at the ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’. The attendees going to the concert numbered around 67,000 concert-goers, while over 900,000 people bought tickets worldwide in selected movie theatres to watch the concert live as it was happening.
In leu of the concert title being ‘The Last Gem’, this concert was a sendoff for the group’s gemstone concept, and as such the concert consisted of songs across all their releases, notably the title tracks from debut all the way up to now.
On December 13, the group released their eighth Japanese single ROAD / Yours (Japanese Version). It was another successful release for the boy group, selling over 504,144 copies during its run, and earning them their fourth number 1 on the Oricon weekly charts. The album earned the group their first ever Platinum x2 certification from RIAJ, signifying that the single has sold more than 500,000 physical copies.
On December 27, the group released their second Japanese studio album Clear Sky, the album was met with positive reception across Japan, selling around 258,385 copies during its promotional run. It earned the group their first number 1 on Oricon’s Weekly Album charts, and was also certified Platinum, signifying that the album sold over 250,000 copies. The album contained the groups sixth, seventh and eighth Japanese singles in the album.
During the end of year award season, EMERGE was once again nominated for several awards, this was one of their most successful award seasons, having won almost everything they were nominated in, winning several Daesungs and Bonsang’s from their releases throughout the year, as well as multiple ‘Album of the Year’ as well due to ‘Act X: Jasper’s reception.
2022: ‘Fall In Love’, ‘Mess Me Up’, ‘Conclusive Love’, and Second and Third World Tours[]
On January 8, the group kicked off their world tour EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2022 -HOT DESTINATION-, the tour kicked off in Seoul, South Korea, at ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’ for three days with a total of 115,000 spectators seeing the tours very first three live concerts. The toured all the way until April 30, where the tour ended on April 30, once more in Seoul, South Korea, once again at ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’ during a two-day concert, where over 100,000 spectators went to see the ending concert.
The tour, like their previous 2019 tour, had four legs to the tour. Leg one taking place in South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malayasia, and Singapore, during which the group had their concerts in: Olympic Stadium, Seoul World Cup Stadium in South Korea. Tokyo Dome in Japan. Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Indonesia. Buki Jalil National Stadium in Malaysia. Singapore National Stadium in Singapore respectfully.
Leg two took place in west, in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and in Brazil. With several notable stadium venues once more, such as: Rogers Centre in Canada. Capital One Arena, Honda Centre, Allegiant Stadium, and MetLife Stadium for the United States. Plaza de Toros Mexico for Mexico. Allianz Parque for Brazil.
Leg three took place in Europe, more specifically, France and England. Stade de France for France, and Wembly Arena for England.
Leg four was once more held in Asia, this time going to the Philippines, Japan, and South Korea. Mall of Asia Arena for the Philippines, PayPay Dome and Shizuoka Stadium for Japan, and for the final run of the concert, once more in Olympic Stadium for South Korea.
The tour was seen as a great success, with the group being able to sell out on every arena or stadium that they group had scheduled even more so that the demand for more dates was expressed by fans and casual listeners alike. The tour was able to sell over 1,715,700 tickets for those that attended the concert, which in total $171,570,000 USD on average in ticket sales alone. When the amount of sales was revealed, it was broadcasted and talked about internationally due to the sheer number it produced in revenue alone, with the tour being cited as one of, if not the best tour of 2022.
During the concert the concert, the group performed a new original English song titled ‘Fall In Love’, and this was later confirmed on January 15, that ‘Fall In Love’ would be having an official release. Teasers for the song and the members were revealed from January 20 to January 29, with the final teaser being released on February 7.

Fall In Love
On February 8, the groups second English single Fall In Love was released. Upon release, it became an instant global hit, charting at 1st place on Billboard's top 200 and global 100 for 4 months straight within the top 5 spots at that as well. It had received a total of 1,000,000 pre-orders prior to release. Earning them their fifth Million seller certificate, and their third one to have been earned prior to the singles official release. ‘Fall In Love’ became EMERGE’s most awarded song on music shows, having won 14 music show wins, the most the group has ever gotten for any of their releases.
‘Fall In Love’ was a global hit, not only was it trending on social media platforms, but was one of the first K-pop songs that the ended up being played across the globe on local and international radio shows, further expanding the groups hold onto the music scene. The sales of the single had skyrocketed during the promotions of it, with the group being awarded six more million seller certificates, signifying that ‘Fall In Love’ had been recognized as selling over 7,000,000 copies during its promotional run.
During the promotional period for ‘Fall In Love’, the group released four remixed versions of ‘Fall In Love’ further increasing the songs visibility and streaming power, the remixes include: Evening Day, Tropical, EDM, and Poolside remixes. These remixes were also released on a physical copy on March 20, and like their original, the single version was also a hit once more. With it selling over 5,000,000 copies in total, earning it five million seller certificates, bringing ‘Fall In Love’ to a total of 12 million seller certifications combining both the sales of ‘Fall In Love’ and ‘Fall In Love Remixed’ to over 12,000,000 copies sold all together.
On April 6, it was announced that the group would be hosting their seventh anniversary concert, unlike their past anniversary concerts where it was held in Korea, this time the concert would be held in the United States, at ‘MetLife Stadium’. Ticket sales for the concert opened on April 16, during which time the tickets sold out within the first minute.
Soon after the announcement of the concert, it was also announced that the group would be releasing two documentaries, one of which is about their training to become an EMERGE member, including behind the scenes footage of their selection process, monthly training evaluations all the way up to their ‘Fall In Love’ promotions. The first documentary being titled ‘The Path to EMERGE 2015-2022’, with the release set for July 1.
The second documentary would be split into eleven 1 hour and a half episodes, each focusing on one of the members during their process of training and practicing for the MetLife concert, with the first episode being about the group learning of the concert and their song planning, while the eleventh episode will be them practicing, at MetLife, along with them seeing the sights of the city. The release date for the documentary is set for July 15, the day after the concert.
On April 11, the group released their ninth Japanese single Time Flies, Love is Slow, it was another string of success for the group, selling 511,485 copies and ranking in first on the Oricon weekly charts, making it their fifth number 1 in Japan. The single was also certified Platinum x2 with recognition from RIAJ that the single has sold more then 500,000 copies during its promotional run.
On April 30, during the final concert of the group’s world tour, the group announced the title for their second world tour HOT DESTINATION -The Party We Fell In Love In-, and that the concert would take place starting on September 2. The members stated that after talking it out with concert venues and organizers the demand for a second concert was spoken of with interested, and after going through contractual obligations regarding it, they confirmed the tour back in January.
Tickets for the concert were announced on June 30, 2022, and tickets for the concert went on sale on July 6, 2022. The tickets ended up selling out within the first minute of it being opened. Fans began trending #MORESEATSPLEASEBLAIR in response to the lack of time for them to acquire more seats, after talking in consideration with several venues, several more dates were added, and tickets for those dates opened on August 6, 2022. Those tickets as well were sold out at a much slower pace but still sold out within the 3-minute mark of it being opened.
On July 1, the group released their first Disney Plus documentary “The Path to EMERGE 2015-2022”.
On July 14, the group held their seventh anniversary concert EMERGE 7th Anniversary Concert, the concert was held in the United States, in New Jersey at ‘MetLife Stadium’. Unlike the group’s past anniversary concerts in which it was only a one-day concert, the seventh anniversary concert had two concert shows, one in the day and one in the evening on the 14. A total of 165,000 tickets were sold for both viewings, along with that, for those that couldn’t attend the concert in person, several major movie theaters across the world held live viewings for the concert and a total of 900,000 tickets were sold across all movie theaters for those to watch the concert.
On July 15, the group released their second Disney Plus documentary “EMERGEing TO METLIFE”.
On July 31, it was announced that the group would be coming back with their third English single Mess Me Up, a song which was a surprise fan gift to fans for their seventh anniversary, would be released in the next following days. Teasers for the song and the members were released from August 1 to August 11, with the final teaser being released on August 13.

Mess Me Up
On August 13, the group released their third English single Mess Me Up, the single was a hit across all platforms. The single debuted at first place on Billboard’s top 100, and was certified another million seller, signifying that it sold over 1,000,000 copies, and during the promotional run the single achieved four more million seller certificates revealing that the single has sold a total of 5,000,000 copies at the promotional run. When promoted in South Korea, the single won the group 7 music show wins in total.
On September 2, the group kicked off their second world tour HOT DESTINATION -The Party We Fell In Love In-. The concert kicked off in the United States, California at ‘Rose Bowl’ for 3 days generating an audience of over 580,000 people coming to the first three days of the concert. The concert ended off in Seoul, South Korea on December 17, at ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’ and the finale was held for four days from December 14 to December 17, generating an audience of 1,530,000 concert-goers that went to the four-day finale.
Unlike the groups past two world tours, this tour did not have ‘legs’ or sections so to speak, instead, the group had selected six stadiums across the world that had shown interest in hosting the concerts and performed in those select venues.

The concert was seen as a massive success, generating not only revenue for the group but also international attention due to the high pedigree of the concert, as such having been able to sell out the Wembly Stadium, and not only that but to also perform in a two-day run with the entire venue sold out as well. Same sentiments are also said about the Rose Bowl, Nissan Stadium as well, both two of which are known to have artists who perform there struggle to sell out their concerts, EMERGE was one of the few to not only perform there on multiple days, but also to have sold out on their respective concerts with demands for more dates to have been added because of it. Several movie theatres across the world held online viewings for the groups Rose Bowl concert on September 2, and a total of 900,000 tickets were sold across the world for viewership.
The concert sold a total of 3,940,000 tickets across all the concert dates, generating a total of $394,000,000 USD on average in ticket sales alone. Making it one of the most successful tours of all time, and one of the tours that had gained the most profit with the company even being able to still generate a profit gain compared to a profit loss even with renting several high-profile stadiums for the concert.
During the middle of the tour, the group announced that a third documentary of the group and the concert would be regarding this tour, their third one in total, and that the documentary would be titled “EMERGE’S HOT DESTINATION TO THE MAIN PARTY” with it featuring the members of EMERGE as they travel the world and perform in at the concerts with several exclusive behind-the-scenes of the members on tour. The documentary would be released in the beginning of 2023.
During the concert, the group performed several new songs, sparking hints that a comeback was in the works. This was later confirmed on October 1 that the group would be making a comeback with their fourth full studio album. Teasers for the album and the members were released from October 10 to October 30, with the final teaser being released on November 15.

Conclusive Love
On November 16, the group released their fourth studio album Conclusive Love with the leading track being Lover = Alive. The album was met with great success like their previous released, earning the group another million-seller certification, the album earned two more million seller certifications signifying that the album had sold over 3,000,000 copies during its release. ‘Lover = Alive’ was able to also grab the group 8 music show wins during its promotion. While not as successful as ‘Fall In Love’ this album was quoted by fans as being a perfect in-between with the songs all feeling like a love letter to their fans.
During the end of year award season, it was one EMERGE’s most successful award seasons, achieving several Daesangs and Bonsangs. They also managed to win the tour of the year for their 2022 world tour that was held earlier in the year.
2023: ‘SKYGATE’ ‘E井’, Fourth World Tour, Hiatus[]
On January 2, the group released their third Disney Plus documentary “EMERGE’S HOT DESTINATION TO THE MAIN PARTY”.
On January 9, the group released their tenth Japanese single Ai no Shittagatte, the single was a massive success for the group, selling around 768,224 copies, giving them their sixth number 1 on the Oricon charts. The single was later certified Platinum x3 under RIAJ regulation signifying that it sold more than 750,000 copies of the single.
On January 10, the group announced that the group would be having their fourth world tour. On January 17. The tickets were sold out within the minute, compared to their past world tours in which they needed to add extra dates, that was taken in mind for this tour and there were extra standing areas in several select venues.
On February 6, the group released their third Japanese studio album EMERGING FIRST, the album reached number 1 on the Oricon weekly album charts, making it the groups second number 1 in Japan to reach that feat. The album was with met with great success, selling 1,009,314 copies, making it their highest selling Japanese album. It was later certified million in RIAJ signifying the success of the album.
On March 18, it was announced that the group would be making their comeback with their ninth mini album set for next month. Teasers for the album and the members were released from March 22 to April 3, with the final teaser being released on April 11.

SKYGATE
On April 12, the group released their ninth mini album SKYGATE with the lead single being Messy. The album was a massive success, like their past albums, selling over 3,000,000 copies, earning them three million-seller certificates signifying that they have sold over 3,000,000 copies in total during the promotional run. ‘Messy’ was also able to grab the group a total of 9 music show wins during its promotions as well.
On April 3, it was announced that the group would be hosting their eighth anniversary concert once more in July during the middle of a break between the groups world tour. The concert was stated to be that it would have an entirely new setlist that is not attached to the concert to give back to their fans as well. Tickets for the concert went on sale on April 13, and within the first minute of release, the tickets sold out.
On May 20, the group tour EMERGE IN THE WORLD 2023 -AWAKEN-, the groups fourth world tour kicked off. The tour started off in Seoul, South Korea, at ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’ for three days from May 20 to May 22. The starting of the concert had a total of 1,450,000 spectators attending the first three days in total. The tour finished off on August 27, once more in Seoul, South Korea, once more again at ‘Seoul Olympic Stadium’ and the finale of the concert was held for four days from August 24 to August 27, and a total of 2,150,000 spectators attended the four-day finale.
Like past tours, for those that couldn't attend the concerts in person, several movie theatres across the world held living viewings, but instead of it just being for only one show, there were multiple viewings for several select performances. A total of 4,590,000 tickets were sold for those that attended the theater viewings.
Like their winter 2022 world tour, the did not have any legs to it, instead, they performed once more in several stadiums across the world: South Korea, Japan, Canada, the United States specifically. A total of 5,510,000 tickets were sold across all the concert dates, averaging a total of $551,000,000 USD in total, becoming the groups highest selling tour and most amount of tickets ever sold for the group.
On June 10, it was announced that the group would be releasing their fourth Disney Plus documentary titled “EMERGE THE TOUR 2023” which goes through the group during their world tour, as well as the members solo activities while also on tour. The documentary will cover the groups eighth anniversary concert as well. The documentary will be released on August 31.
On July 15, the group held their eighth anniversary concert EMERGE 8th Anniversary Concert, the concert took place at the United States, at ‘MetLife Stadium’. The concert had two concerts that day, one in the day and one in the evening, and a total of 200,000 people attended the concert live. For those that couldn't attend the concert in-person several select movie theatres held live viewings for the concert. A total of 800,000 tickets for these viewings were sold worldwide.
On September 7, the group announced that they would be holding an autumn concert set for November 30, 2023. Tickets went on sale on September 14, with the concert selling out within the first minute of it going on sale.

On September 16, it was announced that the group would be coming back with their fifth studio album that is set for release for the end of October. Teasers for the album and the members were released from September 16 to September 20, with the final teaser being released on October 22.
On September 22, information regarding the group’s future endeavors came to light regarding the next year. EMERGE who are currently preparing to release their fifth studio album and their upcoming winter concert, have revealed that their promotions as a group, the group will be entering a hiatus, the amount of time or length of the hiatus is currently unknown.

On October 23, the group released their fifth studio album E井 with the leading song being Puzzle.
Pre-Release sales for their album was once again met with staggering numbers, with it having been reported that on October 13, the groups pre-orders for the album sold upwards to 5.2 Million in pre-orders. The reception to the album from its teasers was met with positive reception, with each teaser trending for several hours afterwards along with the hashtag #MAKEYOURDREAMEMERGE along with it.
On November 30, the group will held their autumn concert EMERGE Grand Festival -New Beginnings, Same 9 Boys-.

- When they were picking their member colors, Seungwoo, Taeseon and Seunghyun all ended up wanting blue as their member color, this caused a huge fight between the three of them, before they all talked it out with Eunjin where they all came to an understanding. They then all decided to have blue but in different shades as their member colors.
- Eunjin revealed that during the first year the group would get on each others nerves easily due to their small living situation, but as they continued as a group they have since became a close family.
- He also revealed that their parents have a group chat as well where their parents all keep tabs on each other and gossip.
- Since the nine of them were some of the companies very first trainees, all of them were picked and scouted by Blair Entertainment's CEO Bae Jungyeol himself.

- During the 2019-2022 period of the group, fans were worried about how busy the group was, from albums, concerts etc, and had originally trended #PROTECTEMERGE. Eunjin and Jiheon talked about it in a live stream where they both admitted that the group liked being really busy and didn't like waiting around doing nothing, where even the members would personally ask for more comebacks and stuff to do. Their CEO Bae Jungyeol also revealed that he had them sign an American singer contract and got them working on Melted, thinking that they'd be overwhelmed by it but was surprised when they came back to him after they were done its promotions asking when they could release another English song.
