doubleC (더블씨; also known as CC) is an upcoming South Korean girl group under MODHIGH. They are set to make their debut on March 10, 2024 with the mini album <New Look>.
As of December 30, 2023, 20 of the 24 members have been revealed.
History[]
Pre-debut:[]
On January 18, 2022, MODHIGH announced that they would be launching their first girl group in the first half of the year.
On February 6, 2022, the company announced their upcoming girl group would be called "doubleC".
On March 1, 2022, they revealed the group's first member Gong Yubin. This was followed by Kim Soo-Min on March 5, Yamada Kaede on March 10, Kim Yoo-Yeon on March 15, Kim Na-Kyoung on March 20, Jeong Hye-Rin on March 25, Lee Ji-Woo on March 30 and Kim Chae-Yeon on April 5.
On July 10, they revealed the group's ninth member Yoon Seo-Yeon.
On August 1, Kamimoto Kotone was revealed as the group's 10th member.
On August 5, MODHIGH revealed that members, YooYeon, NaKyoung. YuBin and HyeRin would be debuting in the groups first sub-unit on September 25.
On September 25, doubleC's first sub-unit Double Toxins made their debut with their mini album Double Toxins <HAZARDOUS>.
2023: =(KQ)uartz Eyes, TOXIC EYES, LOVEation, LOVEution[]
On January 22, 2023, MODHIGH announced that the group would be debuting their second sub-unit, =(KQ)uartz Eyes on March 20. The sub-unit would consist of the members, SooMin, JiWoo, ChaeYeon and SeoYeon
On March 20, =(KQ)uartz Eyes made their debut with the mini album =(KQ)uartz Eyes <Feel+>.
On April 18, MODHIGH announced a collaborative sub-unit between =(KQ)uartz Eyes and Double Toxins called TOXIC EYES, the sub-unit made their debut with the mini album TOXIC EYES <Poison>.
On August 6, MODHIGH announed two new sub-units, LOVEation and LOVEution.
LOVEation would consist of members, YuBin, Kaede, HyeRin, SeoYeon, DaHyun, Nien, SoHyun and Xinyu. The sub-unit made their debut on August 25 with the mini album LOVEation <ↂ>.
LOVEution would consist of members, SooMin, YooYeon, NaKyoung, JiWoo, ChaeYeon, Kotone, MaYu and YeonJi. The sub-unit made their debut on September 25 with the mini album LOVEution <⟠>.
On December 29, MODHIGH announced that the group is preparing to make their 16-member debut in early 2024. On December 30, MODHIGH revealed the debut scheduler for doubleC and their first mini album, <New Look>.
2024: Debut with New Look, fandom name, new sub-units[]
