Background[]
Ange Chérie were announced as LSG Entertainment's first US-based group in a collaboration with Atlantic Records on July 28, 2024.
On September 19, 2024, the group revealed they would release their first single "Debut" on October 25 of that year.
The title track was released, along with its music video, on October 25, 2024. The song met mixed reviews by critics, with many stating it did not meet the standards set by their predecessors, namely labelmates DREAMSCAPE.
Following the release of its lead single, the EP was announced to be released on January 17, 2025. The EP's tracklist was revealed simultaneously, containing 2 more singles: "Touch", to be released on December 27, 2024 and "Check", to be released on January 17, 2025.
The 2nd single "Touch" was released on December 27, 2024, and became Ange Chérie's breakout hit. The track's success can be largely accredited to a viral social media trend taken from the choreography of its chorus.
"Debut" was released on January 17, 2025. It met mostly positive reviews from critics. The 3rd single "Check" was released concurrently with the EP.
