'2023:
It was announced on July 22nd 2023 that BRB would be having their first sub-unit debuting in early 2024 consisting of members Seojin and Rene. The duo would serve as a sub-unit as well as their own group. They are scheduled to debut sometime in early 2024. It was revealed later on in the year that the duo would be debuting on February 29th 2024.
2024:
On January 31st, the duo's upcoming debut mini album's title was released. The title being "Cloud Nine". `
