Soo Dara (박건우) is a Korean singer-songwriter, under JAG Entertainment. she made her debut with N-ARA on June 29, 2020 with the single My Beauty Time
Early Life[]
Soo Sumin was born on March 17, 2000, into a loving family. She was raised by her mother and her two sisters, as her father had passed away years before Sumin was born. From a very young age, Sumin became interested in music. She joined her school's band as a singer when she was little. It wasn't until she was 9 years old that she told her own mother that she wanted to become an idol. After much insistence, her mother allowed her to pursue her dream, but with the condition that if she were to debut, it would be when she reached adulthood.
At the age of 16, Sumin entered her first entertainment company, Luna Entertainment, but ended up leaving after a month because she couldn't focus on her studies. However, five months later, she would join Heaven Entertainment, but she also left the agency due to an ankle fracture. Sumin had lost hope of joining a company, but it wasn't until she saw an advertisement for a new company looking for trainees that she decided to audition quickly, ultimately joining the company.

after joining JAG entertainment she began to train harder to stand out among all the trainees, during her time as a trainee she began to be interested in composition even at one point she thought about becoming a composer but thanks to her hard work made her one of the best trainees the company took her into account for her next group project
it was when in 2018 the pre-debut group BEWITH would end up making changes in the lineup, resulting in the departure of Hayeon and Chaesoo from the group, this made the company reintegrate new girls into the project, Dara mainly did not want to because the innocent concept was not her thing, but when she realized that it was her earliest option she decided to audition and as expected she managed to pass the auditions being very good received by the trainers calling her ''the superstar of JAG entertainment'' and thus managed to enter the group BEWITH

finally the effort that Dara made was rewarded, she managed to debut with her companions in the group N-ARA, she was one of the members who stood out the most in the debut being called as the most famous of the group and the most beautiful, in addition her talent left many people with their mouths shut, her angelic voice, Her fluid and flowing rap, her fluid and impeccable dance, and her iconic and incredible stage presence made her stand out among the members
Although Dara was not spared from one or another controversy, the surprising thing is that none involved her as the culprit but involved the people around her, a great example was when in a VLIVE held on July 7, August 2020, Dara was with MiSo, she would release the comment ''Oh! Daraunnie irritates me so much, always wanting to act like the best'' obviously this comment was made in a sarcastic and mocking tone, even Dara found it funny and laughed too, although the fans misunderstood everything leaving MiSo as a rude, inconsiderate, jealous and envious, which would cause a lot of hate to fall on her, this caused the company to have to come out and give a statement that MiSo totally regretted her words and actions during the live, apologizing to Dara for what happened.
