Danganronpa: Idols are Dead is a fanmade Danganronpa fanfiction written by Rikuya. It exists as a fictional story in the K-pop Fanon Wiki universe.

Synopsis

“

The story follows Kamikura Shion, a K-pop sensation who rose to popularity thanks to the successful debut of his group, SOLUNEX. To celebrate his success, Heaven's Entertainment sent him an invitation letter to their prestigious dinner party, where notable Idols of the Year get to mingle and impress each other with their unique talents. Shion willingly attends the party despite knowing the letter was written eerily and seemed fake. As soon as he arrived at the scene, he was knocked unconscious by an evil force, just as he had predicted. When he woke up, he found himself trapped alongside 15 other renowned K-pop idols in a school facility and forced to participate in a sadistic survival show dubbed "Killing Survival Show" by a murderous anthropomorphic bear, Monokuma, who gives them only one way to leave the Academy: to murder another idol, and not be found guilty in the subsequent trial. For these poor idols, it's either to remain in confinement forever or murder their fellow celebrity without being detected to escape but risk death if caught.

What is Danganronpa

Danganronpa is a Japanese video game franchise created by Kazutaka Kodaka and developed and owned by Spike Chunsoft. The series revolves around an exclusive, government-funded high school called Hope's Peak Academy which, every year, selects "Ultimate" students who are at the top of their field. The story starts with the protagonist he losing consciousness, and when he wakes up, he discovers that he and his 14 classmates have been trapped within the school. Headmaster Monokuma, a sadistic robot bear, informs the students that they will be forced to live within the school forever, with only one way to leave: murdering another student and getting away with it.

Danganronpa: Idols are Dead adopts the same basic Danganronpa element but features K-fanon idols as participants instead of high school students.

How the story progresses

In recent years, Danganronpa fandom trended their fanonized story of the existing three main games by using the wheel picker online to decide the participants' fate and the killing order. To make the writing process easier, unbiased, and adds more thrilling and surprising elements, Danganronpa: Idols are Dead will also utilize the randomized wheel system.

e-Handbook

e-Handbook is a digital handbook used by the participants of Killing Survival Show. The e-Handbook functions as digital record of many things, such as the rules of the school, the name and gender of the student who owns it, a map of the school and so on. Each e-Handbook has a list of the School Regulations given by the Headmaster.

List of Rules

The Idol Academy enforces strict rules among its student body. Idols who violate these rules may be directly executed by the Exisals.

• Rule #1: Idols must live at the Ultimate Idol Academy for the remainder of their foreseeable future.
• Rule #2: Once a murder takes place, all surviving students must participate in a class trial.
• Rule #3: If the blackened is exposed during the class trial, they alone will be executed.
• Rule #4: If the blackened is not exposed, all remaining students will be executed.
• Rule #5: If the blackened survives the class trial, they will graduate and re-enter the outside world.
• Rule #6: The killing survival show and class trials will continue until only ***four*** surviving students remain.
• Rule #7: "Nighttime" is from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. The dining hall and gymnasium are off-limits at night.
• Rule #8: Violence toward Monokuma, the headmaster of the Idol Academy, is strictly prohibited.
• Rule #9: Monokuma will never directly commit a murder.
• Rule #10: Your e-Handbooks are very important items. Please do not damage them.
• Rule #11: The "Body Discovery Announcement" will play when three or more students discover a body.
