Hata Daichi (Japanese: 泰大地; born December 3, 2004) known mononymously as Daichi (Korean: 다이치), is a Japanese actor and trainee. Born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan with his older sister, KATY, Daichi moved to South Korea in March of 2025 to join his sister's label, LoveRail Entertainment. Daichi is originally famous for his acting in Japan, but decided to take a risk to help promote KATY's label.¨
On July 8, 2025, Daichi was announced as a part of LoveRail Rookies.
Early Life[]
2004-2017: Pre-debut[]
Daichi was born on December 3, 2004 in Shizuoka, Japan. Not much is known about his life before his acting career.
2018-2024: Acting career and rise to fame[]
In 2018, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to pursue a career in acting at 14 years old. He quickly gained some fame due to his sister, KATY, at that time was modelling in Tokyo as well for fashion magazines. He built up his career by taking smaller acting gigs like commercials and extras in J-dramas, while also on the side voice acting for small gigs.
He rose to fame at only 16 for his role in a big J-drama, produced by Netflix Japan. After being lucky and getting the role as the second lead love interest for the drama, he gained a big fanbase both internationally and in Japan. After that, bigger roles were available for the up-and-coming actor, leading to bigger roles. In this period of time he was famous for playing multiple iconic male leads.
2025-present: Pursuing idol career in South Korea and LoveRail Rookies[]
In March of 2025, he moved to South Korea, taking a risk at pursuing an idol career under his big sister's company, LoveRail Entertainment.
On July 8, 2025, Daichi was announced as a part of LoveRail Rookies.
