Jang Dae Yeon (장대연), Publicly known as Daeyoon (대윤) is a South Korean Singer, Songwriter under PERSONA Entertainment. She was a member of the girl group Lonely. She is a member of the female super group GAP.
She debuted as a soloist on March 12, 2016 with the Mini-Album Evercome.
History[]
Daeyeon was discovered & scouted from SLEN to join PERSONA Entertainment's label RGB Entertainment to finish the lineup for The Girl Group Lonely.
She ended up debuting with the group with the stage name changing from Daeyeon to Daeyoon.
Later when Lonely announced it's disbandment Daeyoon remained with PERSONA Entertainment.
She signed an exclusive contract to debut as a soloist on PERSONA Entertainment.
She ended up debuting as a Soloist on March 12, 2016, with the Mini Album Evercome. Rising her popularity as a Soloist with the Pop & Ballad Tracks.
On November 2, 2019 PERSONA Entertainment announced that Daeyoon is coming with the 1st Album Flow'ring, Releasing on November 27 the same year, This time the album will contain 3 Pop songs and 7 Ballads.
On January 9, 2020 reports revealed that Daeyoon and Yooun are dating and have been since October 2019.
PERSONA Entertainment and VIOLET Entertainment confirmed the news and they put a statement to the fans to leave their personal life & decisions on the couples hand and to not throw hate nor on Daeyoon or Yooun for being together.
on January 1, 2022, PERSONA Entertainment revealed their newest project, Two Super Groups a male and a female, Song Jiae would be joining the line-up to the female super group going by the name GAP. The group will make their big debut on January 17, 2022 with their first mini album One Step to Reality.
She has been announced as a vocal mentor on the survival show Project Euphoria, a survival show to form a 8 member boy group under M&A Entertainment.
On July 20, 2023, It was revealed that Daeyoon would release her fifth mini album "On My Mind" in August 18, 2023.
