DOE is an 3-member boy group under Ethereal Productions. They debuted on June 15, 2025.
Etymology[]
DOE is an acronym consistent of the initials of Do Or End. This name comes from the members' determination to debut after the hardships they went through: they were set on either making their debut or officially disbanding.
History[]
2024: VALEN7IA[]
The DOE members were originally part of a 7-member pre debut group named VALEN7IA. Their debut was planned for the second half of 2024, but it was announced on November 13 of the same year that the group's debut would be pushed forward to an undisclosed date. Furthermore, the concept, group name and even lineup of the group are subject to possible changes. The day after, 3 members left the company and not long after another one followed suit.
During the hiatus, Seonhwa competed on MAGNET RISE fo a chance at debuting, but he failed to gather any audience and finished in last place overall.
2025: Forming DOE[]
The remaining members kept training for a few months, but they reflected on their career and the ageism in the K-pop industry and decided that they either had to quit the training or finally debut, even if they had to produce it themselves.
As the months progressed, the members built up enough resources to fund their first mini album. Production for * (ASTERISK) began on February and the album was finally out on June 15, 2025. The members revealed that their contract with Ethereal Productions only spanned a single year, and they'd be disbanding on 2026 if the group wasn't profitable.
