DEFINE (Japanese: デパイン; Korean: 디파인; sometimes stylized as DEƑINE) is a 5-members Japanese boy group under MAKE Japan. They made their debut on November 20, 2023, with their first EP DEƑINE Reality.
History[]
Pre-Debut:[]
On May 5, 2023, MyWorld Japan announced that they've been preparing to launch a boy group this very year.[1] Consisting of five members, the group would be going by the name DEFINE, as they will define their own reality with their concept and releases. One week later the official SNS accounts were opened and the logo motion for the group was uploaded on each one of them respectfully.
In another article they revealed that they've been working on the boy group for almost two years, since preparations to debut 1Y. The company confirmed that no delays will happen to DEFINE's debut since they've already sorted everything out and will slowly reveal everything as soon as possible.[2]
On May 12, 2023, the first member Hotaru was revealed, the second member Itsuki was revealed on May 19, the third member Haku in May 26, the fourth member Mitsuki in June 2 and the final and fifth member Oda on June 9.
On June 16, 2023, the group picture was posted across social medias. The next day the debut trailer 'What do you DEFINE? | Debut Teaser' was posted on the group's official YouTube channel.

On September 18, 2023, MAKE Japan (formerly MyWorld Japan) revealed that DEFINE would make their big debut on November 20, 2023 with their first EP "DEƑINE Reality". a B-side from the EP titled 'Locked' would be released on October 6, 2023 by a Music Video as a first glimpse of the group's upcoming career.
2024-Present:[]
On January 29, 2024, MAKE Japan announced that DEFINE would be releasing their first digital single "Peace-Out" on February 19, 2024.
On March 1, 2024, MAKE Japan announced that DEFINE would make a comeback with their next EP "DEƑINE Fantasy". The EP would be released in June 3, 2024.
On October 11, 2024, MAKE Japan announced that DEFINE would be making a comeback with their first album inDEFINE. The album is scheduled for release on November 25, 2024.
