Crowne Entertainment is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2004. It's currently managed by Lee Yonghae.

History[]

2004-2008: CMC (Crowne Modeling Center)[]

Crowne Modeling Center was originally a training agency for amateur/starting models. From 2005 onwards, it also started managing some of the models they trained.

Once CMC started gaining some traction, bigger entertainment companies began sending their trainees, idols, models or actors to prepare them. This helped CMC become a renowned agency.

During the first quarter of 2008, CMC was acquired by SM Entertainment as a subsidiary.

2008-2017: TCR (The Crowne Road)[]

After being acquired by SME, CMC changed names to The Crowne Road, because it now worked as a training agency for future SM artists exclusively, and their work was described as "the road to SM's crown".

Several SM artists trained in TCR's program (Red Velvet's Seulgi and Joy, NCT's Haechan, EXO's Lay and many more).

Due to complications between SM and TCR's CEOs, the parenting relationship between both companies was closed on 2016, and TCR was confirmed to be leaving SME starting on the very first day of 2017.

2017-present: CE (Crowne Entertainment)[]

After leaving SM, Crowne's CEO announced a the new name Crowne Entertainment, and confirmed that from now on the company would work as a model, idol and actor training of it's own. He also confirmed plans to debut artists under his own management, but nothing on the matter was said for a few years.

CE managed a lot of actors and models for a long time, and the company was thriving.

On 2023, Addie joined Crowne Entertainment, and went on to debut as a soloist on August 2024.

As of June 2024, no other music projects have been announced by the company, since they'd rather focus on a single artist since the staff isn't that big yet.

On July 2024, former MY CHEMISTRY GIRLS contestant Ryu Hyunjin signed an exclusive contract with CE, which could be a reason to believe they're planning to debut a new artist (either her as a soloist or a girl group). Later, on August if the same year, Akiyama Aya, former FEARNOT member joined the company after her group disbanded suddenly.

On December 22th 2024 Crowne announced that they'd be debuting their first girlgroup, called 4ever+ during the second half of 2025. The group's members were revealed to be all the girls who joined the agency after leaving their past endeavours.
