Class 1-A (Katakana: クラス1-A, Hangul: 1학년 A반) is a trainee group under RONDO Entertainment. It consists of all current trainees at the company and aims to promote them in a group with a school system. As of April 2025, Class 1-A consists of 39 students: 16 female, 22 male and one non-binary student.
History[]
2021: Formation[]
In March, RONDO Entertainment announced that they would be launching a trainee group. The group's concept would be based on a school system and aim to promote the future talents in RONDO Entertainment. On April 5th, the first line-up was announced, titled the 2021 Class, it featured seven students, three girls and four boys: Shimamura Kokoro, Haruguchi Maria, Nakamura Nanaki, Yoo Ryeowook, Choi Junhyuk, Yoo Yejun and Song Ijin. While some students like Nakamura Nanaki, Haruguchi Maria and Yoo Yejun were RONDO Entertainment trainees prior to the group's formation, most students joined the company due to Class 1-A.
During this period of time, Class 1-A acted as a normal idol group. Although their promotions were limited, members were allowed to take on personal projects and individual activities, such as Nakamura Nanaki joining VVS.
2022: 2022 Class, Extra admissions[]
On April 5th, during Class 1-A's first year anniversary, six new students were announced as part of the 2022 Class: Oh Doha, Li Xia, Im Young, Hiranchai Noina, Chung Ryuji and Chinara Musa.
On August 3rd, it was announced that three new male students would be joining Class 1-A: Abai Abai, Yu TianKuo and Bae Jiyoo.
2023: 2023 Class, Extra admissions[]
On April 5th, Class 1-A's 2023 Class was announced, with Hong Gyumi, Hori Kerena, Lee Seunghwan, Byeon Woobin and Yang Cheolmin joining the group.
On August 27th, Morikawa Aoi and Ito Kanon joined the group.
On November 5th, Hai Chia and Im Kwangrim joined the group.
2024: 2024 Class, Extra admissions[]
On April 5th, Kaya Selassie, Choi Arisol, Roh Kyeongbin, Shimada Rin and Ogawa Keika joined the group. The following day, on April 6th, Jo Mikyung joined the group.
On August 3rd, twins Im Yeongsu and Im Younggi joined the group.
On December 5th, it was announced that Inaba Daiki would be joining the group.
2025: 2025 Class, Extra admission, Abai Abai and Lee Seunghwan's Hiatus[]
On April 5th, Jin Yuri, Chinen Yue, Yang Doyun and Iwate Masao joined Class 1-A.
On May 3rd, it was announced that former LUN4 member Kang Minjae would be joining the group.
On May 18th, it was announced that Abai Abai and Lee Seunghwan would be taking a break from Class 1-A-related activities in order to focus on their participation on the survival show STAR RAIL.

- Jin Yuri is a former member of the girl group LOVES♡NA.
- Kaya Selassie, Chinara Musa, Abai Abai and Hai Chia are all former contestants of the survival show WORLD ON STAGE. They're also former members of the resulting group, WoS.
- Hori Kerena is a former contestant on the show, although she was eliminated.
- Im Young is a former contestant of the survival show Can You Be a Singer?, where she finished in 11th place.
- Jo Mikyung is a former member of the idol group ILLUMINATE.
- Before joining the group, Kaya Selassie was a model back in Senegal.
