Yoon Joohee (Korean: 윤주희), known professionally as Chloe (클로이), is a Korean-American singer-songwriter, dancer and composer under HQ Entertainment. She is a member of the girl group Valkyrie.
Personal life[]
Chloe was born on October 31, 2000 in Brooklyn, New York City, USA to a Korean father and an American mother. She grew up raised around music as her father was a dance teacher and her mother taught her to play many instruments. In mid 2005, she and her family moved to Busanjin in Busan, South Korea since her parents both missed South Korea.
Chloe was first introduced to the idol industry in August 2007 after witnessing the debut of Girls' Generation (SNSD). At the time, she admired member Sunny's vocal abilities but never thought of taking up a career in that industry. However, she had began dreaming of debuting as an idol in January 2012 when Japanese-Korean pop punk band Craft made their Korean debut. Because she naturally loved to sing and also knew how to play different instruments thanks to her mother, she'd hoped to one day debut in a pop punk band like Craft.
In 2016, she had initially auditioned for HQ Entertainment to debut in a band but, as the company were heavily against the idea of creating a girls-band, Chloe attempted auditioning to become an idol trainee. She passed her second auditions with her cover of SNSD's ballad song "Complete".

2018: Debut with Valkyrie[]
On June 12, Chloe was revealed as the fourth and final member of HQ Entertainment's newest girl group, Valkyrie. She made her official debut with the group on July 24, 2018 with their debut mini album Valhalla.
