2011
Hello, my name is Jihoon. I am a korean boy who loves to dance. My biggest hero is Michael Jackson. Ever since I was a little boy I loved watching Michael Jackson's music videos, his live performances, even his interviews. To me, Michael is the human version of a star. To me he is the biggest artist the world has ever seen.
Said that, I decided that I want to be just like him when I grow up. I started taking dance lessons at a big studio here in Seoul. My mom was the one who got me into MJ and into dancing so she tried to get me into a really good dancing academy. The teachers seem to think I have a lot of potential. I guess they were impressed that I could moonwalk. I had told myself that to start taking lessons I should at least learn to properly do Michael's most famous move.
The Audition
Well, mom told me that all the teachers recommended me to entertainment companies. I got invited to join a whole bunch of companies but I didn't feel like doing any of them. If I have to be honest, I want to be a huge star like Michael. If I want to be a star like him I shouldn't do it the easy way. I want to prove myself. I told mom I wanna audition to the best companies.
During that time, SM Entertainment was about to open national auditions. Mom enlightened me about the artists SM had made and upon hearing some of the biggest names of K-Pop, I decided I was going to become an idol under SM and become a star. After all, SM stands for Star Museum.
My mom takes me to the audition and there I see a lot of people. A lot. I'm pretty much the youngest there. I see a lot of teenagers and they all seem very skilled. I feel like I'm a good dancer right now but I still have a lot to learn and I hope to do that joining this company.
I, obviously, choose a Michael Jackson song to perform in front of the judges. I chose my favourite, "Smooth Criminal". It's just too cool, although really hard but I've dancing this for so long, I'm confident I can do an amazing performance.
I enter the room and the judges look really surprised, in a good way. They seemed excited. I performed, I enjoyed myself. The judges asked me "Are you really 10? Wow." They seemed very impressed.
They called my mom in and told me to wait outside. I wait for her.
She leaves the room and tells me they want me to join right away. I could not believe it. It felt like a dream was about to turn into reality. I was so excited. Now I know, I'll be a star, no matter what it takes, I'll be a star.
Trainee Days
I'm a trainee. I really like dancing all the time, even though I sometimes can barely stand, but I never give up. I made some good friends but I'm the youngest trainee at the moment. There's no one my age at the company right now. I'm very glad to have big brothers as nice as Kyungsoo and Haeseong. They have been treating me like their little brother ever since I arrived and I'm very grateful to them. Haeseong has been to my house a bunch of times. I don't live at the dorms so sometimes I invite him over so he can rest better. My parents are very supportive of all the trainees at the company and they know how much Haeseong helps me so it is only fair for us to sometime give him food and a nice to bed to sleep in.
EXO just debuted too. The guys who debuted were really tall and very talented. I didn't meet them much since I was with the younger trainees for a long time but some of them were very excited when I joined. That reminds me that being called cute is something I want to get rid of. I want to stop being cute. I want to look cool.
2013
It's been a while I've been training under SM. I'm already in the advanced classes and it seems like I'm constantly making a lot of progress. More people joined the company. There a few girls my age now although I don't really see them.
Apparently, a new boy group project will begin soon. I hope to be chosen. I know I'm young but I just can't wait to debut. Back then, I wanted to be a star like Michael Jackson, a solo artist. I'm not saying I don't want to be a solo artist anymore but Michael was part of a group when he started, the Jackson 5. He made music with his brothers and that's really nice. I don't have any blood brothers but here in SM I have another type of brothers and I want to make music with them.
2014
Some of my friends were called up to SMROOKIES. They are on their way to debut.
Since the members who get called up start training only among themselves, I don't meet them anymore. It's really sad. Haeseong, Kyungsoo, Sunsoo, Minjae. They all are there. Sunwoo and Yeonsik too. I wish I got called up already.
Hanying is joining them. He is the first foreign trainee to be called up but I expect Maxy to be called too. I just hope they give me a chance. I know I'm young but I know I can do it.
SMROOKIES
I got called up! The same day as Maxy. We are now SMROOKIES. I can tell now for certain that I'm on my way to debut and above all, to debut with my best friends.

1.Who matches Endzone's image the most?[]
Sunwoo. Since Endzone has many different sides, I think Sunwoo is the one that adapts the best.

Minseok. He is one the new members that are 01 Line like me and the one I have talked to the least so I want to change that.

Ichiro. We aren't that alike but we manage to sync up well.
6.Who do you want to travel with 10 years from now?[]
Everyone. Specially my roomates from Endzone M. It'd be super fun for everyone to go on a crazy trip just to have fun.
7.Who do you want to go for a late night walk with?[]
Minjae. He is a great listener and gives the best advice.
8.Who is the person that best matches my taste?[]
Sunwoo. There's not much to say, I really like him.

Kyte. Our leader is always so cool. I admire him a lot.
10.Which member had a unique first impression on you?[]
Insung. I have grown used to being younger than everyone but now I have to be a hyung too. It was a little shocking to see someone that much younger than me debuting but it also reminded me of myself years ago.
11.Hidden weirdo in Endzone[]
Ichiro. He has this very cool persona when on stage that is pretty much him but he's also a little dorky on the side.

No one. Every day is too much. I already see the M guys everyday.
13.Who do you always think is interesting?[]
Ichiro. He is always doing something, it's difficult to be bored around him.
14.Who would be the cutest if everyone goes back to 5 years old?[]
Wiz. He's pretty cute but I imagine him as a chubby kid whose cheeks you'd wanna pinch.
15.Who laughs the most?[]
Snap. He is very lively, he enjoys life.
16.Which member has the name that matches well with his appearance?[]
Jae-J. It's a cute name that suits him well and for some reason I feel like that's a fitting name for a dancer.
17.Person you want to be your younger sibling[]
Very hard to think of someone but I'll take Wiz. As I said, I think he's cute.
18.Who is on your mind right now?[]
Snap. His laugh is echoing in my head.
19.Person you look forward to for Endzone 2021 promos[]
Joonki. I also think a lot of people are looking forward to seeing him on stage.
20.Which member do you always want to take care of?[]
No one. As I've been the youngest for so long it's hard for me to really say I want to take care of someone. I'm used to being the one taken care of. I guess I can say Insung since he's the maknae now.

Joonki. He has a bold, unique style that I don't think many could pull off but I'd be interested in at least trying.
